In the business world shipment may = sold…But to publishers shipment = nothing…Because to a publisher a console on a store shelf doesn't sell publishers' games…And don't forget Microsoft is relying on 3rd parties for most of their exclusives, so they need to get 3rd party publishers on board with the Xbox One. But that is made harder if there's a vast gap in 8th generation consoles in living rooms

Microsoft are being very aggressive? The price drop is in the USA ONLY…Which means there will still be more PS4's sold worldwide through November and December. And don't forget that the PS4 is way out ahead of its yearly projection that Sony can monitor the situation and react accordingly.
And as far as Phil Spencer, I hope this price drop works out better than the last one they announced on May 11th (that didn't take effect till early...
I agree, if you buy a game that you later think is garbage…Deal With It!!! That's how it always has worked since home console gaming started in the late '70's!!!

I can say the exact same thing in reverse though.
They stated in the article that "No one from XBOX has contacted us"
To me that says regardless of whether any of them were Xbox players, they were always going to go with Sony (since Sony made the effort)
