If by timed exclusive you mean EA Access's 6 hours of access that can be used 5 days before the release…Then yes. Otherwise, I doubt any other "timed exclusive" thing will happen with Titanfall 2. I mean, EA can see how much better Dragon Age:I did on PS4 than Xbox One. They don't want anything to interrupt their possibilities of capitalize on all that extra coin

Actually IF both console got steam there would be some Xbox console exclusives that went to PS4…Ryse & Dead Rising 3 being chief among them. Microsoft published both games on Xbox BUT Deep Silver & Capcom published the Steam version of each of those games (And those publishers would have no reason to bar those games on PS4 via Steam)

But the Xbox division would be loosing a lot software sales revenue (and thats where the bulk of the video game revenue comes from). And if you add that to the loss they're currently taking from the hardware…I just doubt the Xbox division would be willing to relinquish any software sales revenue to Valve

@LOLbiasedMUCH

These were Free-2-Play games(many of them available on the PC far before they were on PC)…I don't know many people (read: any people) that choose their consoles on which Free-2-Play games they can/can't play

Thats the point…The only real "loss" is a talking point in a console war…Gamers loose nothing

I love the RPG elements, all those weapon variations, and the open world-ness of it.

Actually UC2 is $5 at gamestop (unless they're talking GOTY edition which is still $30) And did I read you say "Add some PS4 titles"…Why would SONY add PS4 titles to PS Now when they're tying to sell PS4 consoles?

Please troll, go away

To be fair the same quarter last year was the Xbox One launch quarter so I doubt they would have matched or surpassed that…ALTHOUGH, the PS4 may have come close to matching/surpassing their launch quarter

Well since neither system is failing financially nobody has to worry about that...

@darthv72

I see what your saying, but Sony (in 7th generation) was in a bit of a different situation, especially during the PS3's first year. With the PS3 launching a year after the Xbox360, Sony was trying to show the PS2 sales of 2005 & the PS3 sales of 2006. Had the Xbox One released a year after the PS4 then I could understand the Xbox 360/Xbox One joint numbers. But as it is, they both launched within a week of each other so the launch variables are the same

I'm hoping we get a remaster in the short term and a reboot in the long term…Maybe a late 2015 remaster of Resistance 1-3 (w/Burning Skies) and a 2016 Reboot

Not a blip? Famitsu has reported that the PS4 has passed 1 Million units in Japan…1 Million units doesn't qualify as a blip on your radar?

@DarkOcelet

You do know that Japanese store your talking about with the 50% discount was dropping the price because they weren't going to carry any more Xbox Ones because they DONT SELL

"The Xbox One isn’t exactly performing well in Japan, and apparently some store owners are starting to wonder if it taking precious shelf space is actually worth it.

The manager of the Yorozuya store in snowy Hokuto, Hokkaido, apparently decided that ...

1.5Billion????

"Developer now have a hard choice in making a game for 18 million people or make a game for 1.5 billion plus 10 million from Xbox one since they will be able to port in just days from Xbox One to PC." -- WRONG…1.5 Billion PC gamers???? Where are those 1.5 Billion PC gamers at for any of the major AAA multi platform games that ALWAYS sell better on consoles than on PC Example: Titanfall -- (sells over 2M+ on Xbox One, BUT les...

@Dewitt

I was actually talking about the HoloLens as it pertains to Xbox One games…But I grant you that the HoloLens probably has enough specs to run some smaller featured games on its own (and Morpheus, to your point, doesn't)

@andibandit

Yes, seriously…Adding a front facing camera to Project Morpheus would allow for BOTH AR & VR…And that's bad to you? I mean, it may not be for you, fine…But adding a camera to turn Morpheus from just VR to AR+VR is bad in your opinion???

BTW, Hololens would be projecting the augmented images to 2 screens an inch away from your eyes as well

I'M NOT TROLLING: I just really want to know if Windows 10 remote play will work on a different internet network…Like can I play Xbox One games at the airport or doctor's office (with good enough wifi of course)??????!!!!!!???????

All Project Morpheus needs is a front facing camera and then it can do BOTH VR & AR

4048d ago 1 agree4 disagreeView comment

@Death

As far as gaming is concerned, Morpheus has way more potential than Hololens. And let me explain why:

1) Project Morpheus can do Virtual Reality

2) All Sony needs to do is add a front facing camera and it will do all the Augmented Reality that Hololens can do

to be fair the price for a new PS4 in Australia is $549 if I'm not mistaken
