I can't believe with a game called "Adventurer" that no-one has mentioned arrows or knees yet. COME ON PEOPLE!
Considering Square Enix love to resell their old games at high prices they should be in favor of this.
Plus extended lifecycles for 360 & PS3 always provides extended value for gamers. Once the next gen arrives there will be a bumpy ride like always with plenty of dev excuses about hardware being difficult to program for.
Highest bid is by a Mr. T Stark.
I think there is an element of frustration for Vita owners (including myself) that after a strong start the hype wagon has cooled down alot.
There may have been 10+ games announced at E3 but Sony really skimmed over them. All-Star BR & AC:L were good things but that was it, COD was just a logo and WAY TOO MUCH TIME was spent hawking the wonderbook.
However, Vita is stellar tech without doubt. Sony always get things right the hard way so by next E3 I'l...
Really? Still these articles keep appearing? Both X360 and PS3 are well defined offerings with there own unique audiences and appeal. Let's stop these "X reasons why XXXX" articles and get back to playing games.
"Where is my heart?" is a great game
The final roster hasn't been announced yet. More fighters will be revealed and you can bet there will be DLC roster and stage additions too.
It looks decent currently, it probably will be a good game to pick and drop frequently like Motorstorm RC is.
Scripted or not, it was intense and impressive. The Last Of Us should be missed by none of us.
Sony ultimately get things right the hard way. They always make mistakes on hardware launches - mistakes that they should know better about.
I'm guess it'll be a Star Wars game
My only current concerns with Vita is there is no internal storage, it's 2011 - soon 2012 - every major modern device comes with storage.
Then there the issue that the memory cards are obscenely priced at $120 for 32GB which is a real slap in the face.
The final concern is that it seems initially that 3G downloading will be capped. Certainly something I hope doesn't filter through to places where unlimited 3G plans are prevalent.
Minecraft is a rare case of Substance over Style. Not to say it isn't endearing it is, whilst it may not be running on the Crysis engine is looks good in a retro way.
The feeling of achievement when you craft your first tool is great plus the almost endless combinations of materials makes this game one for the "still playing it 10 years later" pile.
Now the bad news is starting to come out. External Battery to go beyond 3-5 hours (most tablets with same specs get 10 hrs life) and 32GB Memory cards costing $120!! They had better be flash memory and not some proprietary version of SD cards.
Oh and they've gone and made the USB port proprietary too, so they can charge $20 for it. idiots
Yeah, trying having offline multi player on a PC.
Street Fighter - nuff said.
@ DrFUD, Gears does have a story. I sneezed once and missed it.
As long as the gameplay remains intact I don't care.
Another poorly written article without any real in-depth analysis. I have no problem admitting that Game A is better than Game B because XYZ. But at least put a coherent argument behind it.
And for the record Super Street Fighter 4 has a better story line that Gears and Uncharted combined simply because I say it is. You see what I did there?
Actually FIFA deserves to be there. It's made large improvements each years and globally is probably played by more gamers than most other franchises.
So basically this article is hoping that the franchises that will finance new IP's will all go away. Hmmmmmm.
