I'm guessing you haven't played the franchise. Thus far, Uncharted 2 blows Gears 3 out of the water as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure U3 will do an even better job.
Played Gears 3...and didn't think it was as good as previous entries. It tried hard to tell a good story...but fell short as usual. They tried to tug on heart strings for a character dying....but it all felt stressed, pushed on you and fake. I applaud Epic for it's efforts...but I get the feeling Uncharted 3 is going to blow it out of the water in most areas. It may not get the sales numbers that Gears has, but it sure as hell ought to.

To people here claiming they were expecting PC quality visuals on consoles...I can only laugh at you. Your own fault for having high expectations. Even with it's visual downgrade from the PC, it STILL manages to look better than MW3. Why? Maybe Activision should start using a new engine instead of rehashing the same one from 2007. Use some of that money they are swimming in to actually update the franchise.
