Twin Snakes was trash anyway. The original MGS on PS blows the socks off of it. Better cinematic direction and far better audio. After playing 15 minutes of it and seeing how they changed Naomi's voice and screwed with various bits of dialogue, I said screw it. All they had to do was up the graphics and add MGS2 gameplay mechanics...but no...they had to ruin it.
Glad it's similar. Means I can get the SSB experience without having to buy a crappy outdated SD Wii. All in glorious HD. :-D
I don't desperately want anything. I've owned both now for quite some time. People need to get with the times.
The game can never be finished...like the devs said. I just finish the main quest line and all other guild/faction quest lines, gain around 100K in gold and then I wait for future questline DLC. I would say I'm done as of right now.
Strange. I liked Killzone 3. The controls were far better than the first, along with the gameplay. People keep saying the story sucked....I disagree. I played Crysis 2 soon after Killzone 3...and THAT was a sucky story.

Yup. It's not Metal Gear as far as I'm concerned. It's cheesy Bayonetta in a Raiden costume. Lame to say the very least. First Metal Gear title I will be skipping. Maybe MGS5 will redeem the series and will have Hideo behind the helm.

I think what the author is referring to is people who refuse to try another console out of some blind idiotic loyalty. They'll blow something off without trying. It's annoying and not needed.
I buy exclusives and multiplatforms for my PS3 and buy exclusives for my 360. I guess it's because I just can't see that magical difference people tend to keep seeing between the multiplatform versions, because I honestly can't. Does that make me any less of a "true gamer"? No. It's just a personal preference.

I love Halo and Gears....but to not have the choice of putting in Uncharted 3 or Killzone 3 on a moments whim? That would make me a sad panda. ;-(
Why are they fanboy statements? It's true. 360 controllers out of the box require AA batteries to be replaced at a substantial rate. You pretty much have to get the play and charge kit in order to stop buying batteries. Microsoft has focused on letting you buy your console in pieces, while Sony has you buy it in one piece. They are just different marketing strategies.
I'm a proud owner of both HD systems. I have no problem admitting that my PS3 has the better catalog and online experience(being that it's free). I'll also admit that I like my 360 as well. I don't dislike either one. One just offers more for me. At this point in the game, if you don't own both I would say it's due to some odd fanboy allegiance/denial. You can buy both now(together totaled) for around the price of a launch 360. Around $200 each. Not too shabby ...
