Dude, it just shows how powerful marketing can be. You know it's the better console, I know it's the better console, the majority do not or do not care. As long as they get a colorful interface, and a couple of overhyped games once or twice a year they are content. Pretty sad to see. :-( Marketing and casual fluff have driven sales this generation, definitely NOT the quality of the content within. That is a FACT.

Let them beat their chests at sales numbers. Big whoop. I prefer tangible things that I can see and hold, such as software variety and quality. That's something to brag about.
First they clattered on about how many more games they had. When that fell through they clattered on about how exclusives magically don't matter anymore. Then they clattered on about American sales. Keep hanging on to those sales numbers and making up excuses for the company that has abandoned you for the casual crowd. I've moved on to a system that actually still has the hardcore market in mind. That's why I bought a PS3. Games. :-) Not fluff.

Call bullshit on Crysis 2 looking better. It didn't look nowhere near as promised on consoles (although there are some delusional fanboys out there that argue otherwise. They have this strange obsession with multiplatform titles outdoing PS3 exclusive titles. But then again do you blame them? If all I had to play on my console was multiplatform content, I would want it to look better as well).

Hmph. Since 2.01 I have had flawless matchmaking. Ranked up to level 4 in about 20 minutes. So far I like what I have played. Feel sorry for the guys having tech issues. :-( Hope things get better for you soon.
Essential? lol Hardly. I would like a *new* game this holiday season, not DLC. So many other (better looking) action adventure/shooter titles out at around the same time it's ridiculous. Rage, BF3, Uncharted 3, Gears 3 etc. I simply won't have time for mediocre content/games.

Exactly. I don't see what the fuss is about. Different retailers have different DLC for you, like EVERY OTHER big release. It's been explained and it's easy to understand. This is yet another troll article that has no substance. They are grasping at straws to hate on this game.
Nah, because over there some of the mods are biased. I'd get an infraction for hurting anyone's delicate feelings over there about their precious device. It's sad the state in which that place is in. I remember when you could go there and *gasp* discuss Playstation related information without hassle from assholes.

Yeah I know...meh...because it does what it is advertised to do: Work, and with damn good precision. Wish the same could be said about the competitions hardware.
Makes sense for the Move. Will it ever happen? No. Which company has bigger pockets? That seems to be what LucasArts is interested in the most. Still waiting for a decent Star Wars game to hit since Battlefront 2.

Out of my HD consoles(PS3 and 360), my PS3 has the best hardware and software selection I have seen thus far this generation IMO. Why others don't buy it at this point is either out of blind brand loyalty or not knowing the game library it offers. I bought my consoles for games, and Sony has been delivering.
100% true statement. People can keep on hating for no reason, but they will be the ones losing out. The games the PS3 has are fantastic and should be enjoyed by more people. Most of my 360 friends that come over to play my PS3 never really can find a legitimate gripe with it. Always BS excuses "The controller feels funny.." Duh, it's new to you. "No party system online...?" No...but it's also free...and offers great content. Please, find more excuses....or ...

Not surprised by this article at all. Call of Duty is the 360's bread and butter at the current moment. Anything that goes against that is automatically frowned upon by 360 journalists/fanboys. You'll only see more and more of these bash articles pop up the closer BF3 hits. I'm still buying it of course, and shocker, NOT MW3. I'm sick of purchasing DLC every year.
