Um... the game just came out? How will we know until it, you know, happens?
Seriously, people have nothing to write about.
Wow, I've heard of FUD... but now we have PRE-FUD on a price drop that isn't even confirmed?
Just another "news" day on N4G eh? Pathetic. Even if it doesn't propel the PS3 to "first" in this lame console war, as long as it increases the install base and gives developers more chances to sell their titles to gamers, and gives more gamers a chance to enjoy awesome exclusives like MGS4 and Uncharted, well... what's the problem? Idiots argue about ranking in the co...
If we are generalizing, Kewlkat, then you mean the Xbox "nation" quickly forgetting that MGS4 is an overhyped movie?
Kigmal...I know you're smart, but that post makes NO tense and really is hypocritical. A good game will be accepted by gamers, period. There will always be people on the "other side" who bash a title due to jealousy (MGS4 is just a movie, remember?).
3D NG was a true Xbox game from the start? Well, c'mon, DMC was a true PS2 game from the start. So where is the difference there with DMC4 going to Xbox 360 as well as PS3? MGS is a series that has grown up on the Playstat...
Last place in... what? Oh, that BS media made "console war." Yeah, you keep arguing that, I'mma go play some kickass games.
Indeed. Granted I can't wait for the game... but... "studio says sequel to be better..." is that really news worthy without screencaps, video, info about updated features? Isn't that... you know, common sense?
Oh well, bring it on Bioware, you talented bunch!
Great list, but I'd have to add -
- TMNT4 - Super Shredder
- FF7 - Sephiroth
- MMX - Sigma
- Almost every boss from every MGS game, heh
- Mundus from DMC
- Vergil 3 from DMC3
- Xemnas Final Form from KH2
- The Queen from Ico
- Ganon from OOT
IMHO o course.
Exactly Xi. Sometimes you just can't afford, be it time or money, to make your own engine. In those regards, I think it's great to have. I'm just so sick of U3's slippery when dry look. I'm glad titles like Mirror's Edge were able to step away from it.
Indeed. Like anything, its about balance.
My biggest beef is that when the "quick route" is taken to the extreme, everything looks homogenized (Gears looking the same as UT3 for example). But no, I don't think its "destroying" anything, because some games just wouldn't get made otherwise.
Quiet on the logic and common sense. That isn't allowed at N4G.
Don Reisinger "article."
I won't even waste my time.
SPOILERS
You realize Liquid is still basically nanos right? Ocelot used nanotherapy, hypnotherapy, and drugs to literally create the mind of Liquid in his own head. On an information/digital level, Ocelot became everything Liquid was.
Also, this was explained in MGS4... Zero decided to pass control on to the AI that you spoke with at the end of MGS2 instead of another group of people. Ocelot used the design of the AI against itself. The AI runs on predictable patter...
Please watch the vid and understand the context of what he is saying. Don't listen to the poorly written N4G summary.
And this is coming from a HUGE MGS fan.
It's called Killzone Liberation. It's on the PSP, Check it out. Rico is indeed in it... and the game is quite challenging. :-)
HHG. Again? In one day?
...sigh. Why? Make it stop!
......so much for the wallet rape subsiding. Thanks DLC.
Unfortunately, only idiot fanboys think that sales are a mark of quality or will somehow influence your enjoyment of the title.
"A FPS outsold an RTS.. Wow expected. "
So if Halo Wars outsells KZ2 in the NPD data next month, and someone says "A Halo named game on a system with a larger install base outsold KZ2... Wow expected."
Then we won't hear any arguments, spin, or BS from you? Interesting.
I don't get the whole KZ vs Halo Wars argument personally. More fanboy pissing matches.
All games are made for profit garnering reasons. I'd say CoD5 being a reskinning of CoD4 is more of a milking than what Halo is doing.
Twin Snakes though was made at the request of Miyamoto, and was a remake on a system that had no MG game.
Substance was created as a port for the Xbox, again, a system that had not seen MGS2 (and yes, was later on released on PS2 as well).
Subsistence was a testing ground for both MGO as well as the new third person camer...
You know, usually you are pretty cool, and I was going to give a serious reply, but your post there is so slanted it's not even funny, so I won't bother.
