I don't see it hitting before March, and honestly, I'm FINE with that. I'd rather have it be an amazing, epic finale that is well polished, plays well, and has plenty of secrets, than something that just disappoints.
*giggles*
What happens if your ISP goes down, or the service is down? Good thing you can play all those single player, offline titles... right? Oh wait, you CAN'T.
Again, lag. End of discussion.
KH3. Ps3 or multiplatform, don't care, just bring it on, I want to see where things go. Also, bring back Billy Zane! Richard Epcar as Xehanort just doesn't do it for me.
I'm still upset that KH and KH2 outsold Japan releases by insane amounts, yet we couldn't get KH Final Mix or KH2 Final Mix (the full, not just part of it, grumble).
Let me know when this becomes a GAME, you know, with a release date, gameplay, etc...
Silly people arguing over an ENGINE that is what, 1 - 2 years off from PRACTICAL application?
New series please! Or barring that, ZOE3! It's too early, IMHO, for MGS5... unless its a reboot/new universe with new takes on classic characters.
Metal Gear Solid 4 - Subsistenanublimationance.
People hate on X-2 a lot for the shift in tone, but I gotta say, the actual COMBAT system was pretty nice.
You aren't a very clever troll, are you?
Perhaps you can tell me the game that will be using this engine? Release date? Final resolution, framerate, gameplay applications? What's that? You can't.
God, you trolls fail so hard, it's not even funny. You go wait for that MULTIPLATFORM title, whatever it ends up being, to hit...
Played it. Beat it. Loved every second of it. Quite a unique title, far from "crap."
I like how people slam a game, then hide behind the old "opinion" crap. Yeah, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but HOW YOU PRESENT that opinion is the difference between fostering discussion and being a lame troll.
Interesting. PLEASE be good. PLEASE have sidequests. PLEASE go back to character driven stuff like pre-XII.
Now we argue engine performance? On titles that don't even exist to the consumer?
Only on N4G peeps. Sad.
What a tool. Like anything in life, it's about BALANCE. I'm sorry, but gaming would NOT be better off without MGS, Pokemon, Halo, and Mario sequels. A quality sequel can be just as innovative and original as a new IP. Sequels do not stifle creativity any more than new IPs do.
To each his own... personally I LOVE the PS3 controller for these types of games. It wasn't until Sigma hit that I really started to appreciate the the combat, as I couldn't STAND the Xbox controller for games like this.
And yeah, as I said before, I take no pleasure in seeing fans of a series that is on both consoles being snubbed. It's Lost & The Damned all over again, but reversed.
Lag. End of discussion. Sorry.
I don't have proof of the matter, but if MS is indeed forcing devs to release games on THEIR schedule instead of when the title is ready, that's deplorable. I'm sorry, but NG2 and Fable 2 deserve better treatment.
I'm attempting to reason with you, and you huff and puff and generalize about "PS3 fanboys" again. If YOU can't have a serious discussion, why should others be expected to?
Always such petty generalizations on this site. Remember, MGS4 is "just a movie"... until any porting rumors are announced. It's a "big deal" to me because it's NGS2, a sequel to Sigma, which is a game in a franchise I love. I could care less what it sells, and frankly the fact that "gamers" quickly and consistently run to the sales data in defense of any argument these days is pathetic.
NG2 was flawed. NGS2 looks to FIX those flaws, and make the gam...
People used to joke about and say that the PS3 gets leftovers. Sadly, it's unfortunate that many 360 owners now have become public beta testers for unfinished titles that get superior PC and PS3 releases.
I take no pleasure in 360 only fans being snubbed, just as I take no pleasure in PS3 only fans of GTA and Fallout being snubbed. Sadly, money talks.
Yes they are, in two ways.
1) You are trying to quantify something that is entirely subjective. Reviews always have been, and always WILL be biased opinion. It's just the way it is. If review scores were fact, we wouldn't have the need for more than one review outlet, as their score would be all that is needed.
2) We need to stop letting review scores influence us so much. Reviews are great, but should be used to INFORM. Instead, how often do we see the terms "o...
