The only "mistake" with the Xbox One that hasn't already been corrected is the weaker hardware itself.
Otherwise they have listened to everyone and changed everything that people didn't like at launch. Unless I'm forgetting something.
That could happen with any VR game.
That's the thing about VR that bothers me most. You are completely cut off from the real world around you.
Can't see anything, can't hear anything...
You are completely removed from reality...
No thanks.
I respectfully disagree.
Mow some lawns, young man? What does that mean? I guess you think I'm both a kid and that I can't afford a VR set? That's the only reason I could possibly not like it, huh?
I used to mow lawns but I quit about 25 years ago when I was 15. I could buy all the VR sets if I wanted. I just don't want to.
And my comparison to 3DTV was meant to imply it would flop and disappear after a few years. Not that the tech was in any way similar. Anyone t...
Agreed. It's going to flop, I've been saying that for awhile.
It's the next 3DTV.
So 8/10 is good, but 7.8/10 means you might want to wait?
That's a pretty fine line you are drawing there. lol
lol, I'm not saying I'm incapable of sitting still for 10 seconds.
Just that I move around a lot and unless I knew that was coming up, I'd likely fail it instantly because I was already moving when it started.
I can be prepared to push a button whenever a prompt pops up, but I'm not going to sit stone still the entire time I'm playing just in case one of these pops up.
That would never work for me. I move around too much and never sit completely still for long.
I'd get caught mid-movement and fail those parts before I knew what was happening.
What did Witcher 3 do with the PS4 controller's unique features?
He has disagrees because some people don't think "VR is the future".
I am one of those people.
I think it's a gimmick at best.
I don't like the idea of being cut off from my surroundings while wearing a headset like that.
I don't like the idea of being "in" the game but only moving via a controller.
The only games that fit VR to me are driving simulators or flying simulator...
Sony used to have all the sweet games for free because that was the only reason to join.
Now that you need it in order to play online, they don't need to give such enticing games away.
Xbox is trying give away better stuff to make themselves look more appealing because they aren't leading the race.
Why wouldn't you?
Who wants to start a hard mode when you're already built up and have good gear?
I don't mean the whole world is terrible.
I just mean the fact that the majority are controlled the minority that is offended by EVERYTHING is terrible.
They guy that posted the initial complaint wants his little girl to grow up knowing that it is ok to murder people as long as you dress conservatively while doing so.
I'm with you. I won't support a company that caves to people like this.
There was nothing wrong with that pose. Her pants are tight, whoopty do.
I see underage girls walking down the street in yoga pants that are showing as much as this cartoonish fictional character.
What the hell is wrong with people nowadays?
You pretty much nailed it.
Yeah I fully believe the second post was just a case of:
"Hey let's make it sound like we were going to do this anyway, that way everyone is happy."
This isn't just for games.
It's the world we live in nowadays, and it's terrible.
I love when people count batteries as a negative for the Xbox controller.
It's a plus, a HUGE plus.
I use AA rechargeables, swap them out and I'm back in the game in 10 seconds. No wiring up my controller to recharge. I haven't played a game for even a second with a wired controller since 2 console generations ago. Plus they last 40 hours or so.
I don't wire up on PS, either, but on there it requires me to have two controll...
You're more concerned with how the console looks than what's inside the box?
That seems odd. You'll hardly look at the actual box once it is installed, but you'll see the pros and cons of the hardware every time you're using it.
