I'm 39 and got asked to help my 12 year old nephew build a PC a few weeks ago.
We got through part of it and then I threw in the towel because I had no idea what I was doing and didn't want to screw anything up for him.
So maybe you can find a 4 year old that is capable of doing it, but please don't try to pass that off as the norm.
Unless of course I'm just stupid, which is very possible. lol
I tried this last beta weekend, but it is just totally lost on me.
It seems like it's a mashup of like 4 different genres of games and it totally doesn't work.
But to be fair, the appeal of the MOBA genre is lost on me, so maybe I just couldn't get past that part of it.
Somebody ALWAYS finds a way.

Bayman is a grower, not a shower.
That would make sense in another game that has character classes but unfortunately, every character in this game is identical.
There is no reason to EVER play a second character, unless you want to start over with a friend who is just starting.
if all you want to do is play solo then wait for it to get cheap.
You might even be able to get a complete edition that has all dlc.
If you aren't playing with other people there is no reason to get in a hurry anyway.
Maybe people just like the journey to max level and getting all the skills but don't like the item grind at the end?
Then there are people that are the opposite of that and would prefer to be power leveled to max level so they can get straight to the item grind.
People just like different things.
The buildings can only be destroyed in multiplayer so I don't think you need to worry about a reset button.
I don't understand that statement either.
She is still wearing her glasses, so why is it any different than the real world where she "sees the world through rectangular lenses".
It should be the same.
Unless you can take your glasses off and see fine in VR, then that sentence would make sense, but she clearly states she couldn't focus without her glasses.
I agree, and don't forget the inherently anti-social aspect of it, TheCommentator.
It might be fine for the hardcore gamer that lives alone or the stereotypical "parent's basement" gamer, but I can't imagine many people that are married and have kids are going to cut themselves off from the real world to use this thing.
That has been my main beef with VR all along. I am rarely ever alone in my house when I'm playing, and I would nev...
So many people are going to get sick, hurt themselves, and/or break things in their house when this launches.
It's going to be like when the Wii first launched and there were videos of people throwing their wiimote through the TV or shattering light fixtures.
With the rise of smart phones in the years since then, there should be even more videos popping up.
Ok just making sure I was clear, too, thanks!
I understand that difference, but that was never the criticism that I saw.
I just saw people mocking it for the whole "virtual screen" concept.
Everyone said it was stupid. And I agree with them, it is silly because it will NOT look as good as playing it on a real TV.
My intention was never to come down on anyone for liking the game. Just expressing my opinion that I didn't care for it.
I don't care that people like it, I just don't understand it.
I remember Microsoft showing Forza being played on Oculus on a big giant "virtual screen", and everyone made fun of it and said it was the stupidest use of a VR headset they'd ever seen.
Now Sony is doing the same thing and it's a great feature that everyone is excited about.
This place really confuses me.
This is the video of the demo I'm talking about, by the way: 3764d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment
I haven't been to NY before, and I totally appreciate the realism.
But realism doesn't = exciting.
Real life is usually quite bland compared to video games, which is why we play them. And also why I disagree with this article.
I don't see this thing going mainstream at a price like that.
400 bucks, plus 50 for the camera, plus maybe a move controller?
I just don't see anyone outside of the diehards on forums like this paying that much money for such a limited use item.
Reading all the comments on this page it's pretty clear that only one person actually read this article.
The whole article is really about the game being mediocre and super over-rated. Something I've been saying for awhile.
I played the game a lot more than this guy, finished the story and every sidequest that wasn't broken at the time, and I agree with him wholeheartedly.
Other than the graphics I don't see one good thing a...
I feel quite the opposite than this.
A bunch of same-looking skyscrapers. Woo Hoo.
This still doesn't make sense to me.
She has her glasses on inside of the headset.
How can her field of view be any better outside of the rims of the glasses than it is without the VR headset?
It doesn't matter if light is being beamed into her eyes from a screen pressed against her face or from the real world, the rim of her glasses is still a boundary that limits the edges of her vision.
The glasses are between her ...
