To each his/her own. I thought Watch Dogs was better than GTA.
I'd say the majority of it isn't from actual fans, it's the people that were naysayers from the beginning.
Most likely people that think everything from Kickstarter is doomed to fail, taking the opportunity to gloat over a potential "I told you so".
That's a hard question to answer, I think it will depend a lot on how you hold the controller, and on how many of the paddles you use.
I can't get used to holding the controller with all 4 paddles on. It leaves me no safe place to grip where I'm not pressing a paddle unintentionally. I use just the two short upper paddles, and depending on the game, maybe only one of those.

I work at a bank, and I am absolutely amazed by the number of people that will call, saying there is a debit card transaction on their account that they didn't authorize, only to follow it up by telling me they signed up for a free trial for whatever the product is.
That's how ALL free trials work, and that's how it has been for years.
Well yeah, but the game came out in November.
They couldn't very well release mods before the game. It's hard to count that time against them.
I hate that they are making these fancy special controllers but they are all standard controllers, not the elite.
Now that I have an elite, there is no way I'm going back to the standard controller.
It's been 6 months.
I still want it for the solo stuff and snapmap, but the multiplayer is abysmal.
There IS a separate team doing the multiplayer.
And it's horrible.
CoD4 had an amazing campaign.

I don't care if it's a "collective" score or not. It's somebody else's opinion on how good the game is. Just because it is 30 other people instead of one doesn't make it right, they still aren't ME.
We don't judge anything else that way, why do it with games?

What they really should have done is wait to have the beta about 3 weeks before launch when nothing was going to change and it's just a glorified demo.
Next thing you know, they'll be listening to player feedback and updating things accordingly.

Loadouts alone ruin the game. Even if they fixed everything else it will be garbage until Loadouts are gone.

It's a cheap and cheating, and people know it when they are doing it. They know it is wrong and unfair and they do it anyway.
