Comparing DriveClub to Forza is laughable at best.

Buy both consoles so you can play all the games. If you can't afford both, pick the one you want more. If you don't care about a single exclusive game on one of them, pick the other one.

I'm quite open minded, and if it is used for something cool I will admit that, I just generally don't like gimmicky things, I just like a plain old "regular" controller.

Yup, that's one of the many reasons it is better than the Dualshock.
I don't want to be tethered to the console to recharge, I want to swap batteries and keep going.
I can't do that on a PS console unless I have two controllers to alternate between.

Gears of War was no less of an awesome exclusive game for MS to have just because they don't own Epic and didn't develop the game themselves.
The end result to the gamer is that a game ends up on one console and if they want it, they have to buy that console.

This game is fantastic, but playing alone is definitely aggravating, to put it mildly.
If they would have made the AI partners do anything at all it would have made a huge difference.
Just give them the ability to at least pick up a bag of cash, or restart a drill, or anything. There is just no way to do everything yourself if it involves making 8 trips across the street with bags of jewels while being assaulted by FBI agents in heavy armor. lol
Being capable of overheating and being prone to overheating are two separate things.

I only just joined N4G earlier this year, so I have no idea what kind of comments were made on this site throughout the current generation. I certainly never made any comments towards Sony the likes of which I read here directed towards MS.
And I find it funny that you call my post melodrama when the post I was replying to used the words "pedigree stock" and "oasis of paradise" to describe the PS4.
