It's a great game, but it tends to get awfully easy if you do all the side quests as you are progressing.
It just needed a little rebalancing and it would have been a masterpiece.
As it stands, I still spent hundreds of hours on it.
I can't get over the fact that there are no "traditional" buttons.
You have the two track pads, which are basically taking the place of the dual analog sticks on a normal controller, but there is nothing to take the place of the D Pad and A,B,X,Y buttons.
I realize there is an A,B,X,Y in the center around the touchscreen, but that hardly takes the place of the regular 4 buttons that can all be accessed from one thumb.
I don...
"The x,y,b,a buttons umm hmm never ssen it like that lol But who knows may make sense when I get my hand on it."
We'll see how much sense it makes whenever you play a game that requires you to press two buttons simultaneously. lol
I have hated on the game a little, but it has nothing to do with Ryse.
I just HATE the whole Free-to-Play model of gaming. I was excited about this game until they announced that. Now I won't know for sure until I get to try it myself, but I have yet to encounter a F2P game that wasn't designed poorly, in that it almost forces you to buy stuff to have a chance. (Or at least to have a chance without grinding for HUNDREDS of hours.)
I would much rath...
Because it is just an higher res version of an older game.
I'm not saying anything bad about it, it's just not a game that belongs in a list concerning 2013.
Did you seriously just put Wrestling on the same level as the NFL??
How does Wind Waker HD qualify to make that list? lol
I think it would actually look worse if it was all a bunch of multicolored boxes mixed together.
I'm not a HUGE fan of the "metro" look to begin with, but I think it looks at least a little better when it's consistent.
When you start mixing up the colors and sizes of the tiles it gets to be a real mess.
The console is totally ready for launch.
They just don't have some software related features ready.
Look at how many new features were added to the 360 between launch and now. The only difference this time is that we know some of these are coming ahead of time.
I'm pretty sure it's 20, not 40.
This is the reply I get from every single person when I tell them I hated it. lol
I'm no stranger to difficult games, I really just thought demons souls was awful.
Trust me when I say it's not the first time I was the ONE person who hated a game everyone else likes. lol
The difference with KI is that you also have the option to buy the whole game and get everything.
So they are giving us both options.
I will buy the whole package and never have to deal with the F2P crap.
KI doesn't bother me because you can pay one flat rate and buy the "whole" game, so to speak.
Thereby eliminating the whole problem I have with the F2P model.
I hate EVERYTHING about F2P.
This sucks. Crap cell phone games are ruining my hobby.
It's really a good game, don't judge a book by it's cover.
Lots of fun, especially co-op.
I was excited about this game back when we thought it was kind of a sequel to Dragons Dogma.
Now... Not so much.
I haven't played Dark Souls, but I hated Demons Souls with the fire of a thousand suns. I thought the combat was the most awful clunky mess of any RPG I've ever played, and I never could understand why people liked it so much.
But hey, to each their own, I hope everyone enjoys this game. And I suppose I'll give it...
I'd love to have another MechAssault.
I remember playing the original on Xbox Live starting at midnight launch 11/15/02 until I had to quit and go to work at 7 AM.
Man that Friday at work was a long one. lol
I thought this game looked amazing at first, then with each extra bit of info I've become less impressed.
Now it's F2P?
No thanks. I've never played a free to play game that wasn't garbage.
I hate this crap. Just give me a full damn game.
Sony, please show me ONE reason besides inFAMOUS to justify buying your console.
I'm a 360 owner and I've played the Last of Us.
At this stage of the game, more people own both consoles than you think.
That said, this has nothing to do with the actual topic and you are just trolling like usual.
Yeah no kidding.
I don't see anyone complaining about them not showing the 360 version.
~eyeroll~
