I got an idea, how about we all argue about somebody's opinion a little more?
I'm sure when somebody presents the perfect argument, even the die hard fanboys will switch sides when their own opinion is proven wrong.
"PS4 is the best because reasons!"
"You're clearly right, I'm going to throw away my XB1 now."
Seriously, is this what gaming is about now? (Well, this and the number of Ps, an...
Pretty much the same here, DragonKnight.
I've fallen through the ground twice.
And I had some issues getting together into co-op the first time, but that works fine now, too.
So either I'm "lucky", or these reports are blown out of proportion.
Not saying the game is perfect, but AC3 had more issues at launch than this game does.
And I think that hating Ubisoft is just the "cool"...
That's just it.
There ISN'T any more variety.
There are so few exotic weapons and armor in the game, expect to be looking at the same stuff forever.
Don't get too carried away now, you sound like all the crazies that were spouting off "greatness awaits" for months on end last year.
I'm glad I don't have to read that in every article anymore.
Did they label the pictures wrong?
The article says XB1 on the left, PS4 on the right.
All the left pictures look better than the right ones. Well most of them. Some I can't see a difference on.
Holy crap, she totally does.
O_O
Unless you manually got the update last night, you weren't on the latest version.
That's why you are getting disagrees.
It was first available 11/15 in the evening.
Wow, I played all day yesterday and it's fine.
I had the frame rate sputter on me twice that I can remember, and it wasn't even that bad.
That's it.
Well UPlay wasn't working, but that's no big deal.
@Wizard_King
"Lowest launch game count of any gen ever"
N64 launched with 2 available games in the US.
TWO.
Mario and Pilotwings
Remember how buggy AC3 was at launch? That game was a mess.
This was the stupidest thing I've read all day.
"Firefights are not the focus of GTA, nor are the driving segments."
Really?? Is that why probably 99% of all missions in every GTA game EVER involves you doing both of those things?
To each his own, but this mode changed me from not caring at all to definite purchase.
AC Unity - 900p 30fps
This guy says PS4 could do 1080p @ 60 like it's a definite fact.
So now people actually believe that the PS4 is almost THREE TIMES as powerful as the XB1??
LOL
I'm not saying it would be bad to give them the choice.
It just won't happen because it would take too much redesign of how the game works and to properly balance everything.
It just won't happen. The guy from Bioware even said as much, although he was talking about redesigning 1 to play like 2.
They will NEVER change anything like that in the base gameplay. It just won't happen.
I'm on the opposite side of the fence, I'd like to see ME1 reworked to play like ME2 or 3, but that won't happen either.
And really, it shouldn't. It should remain the same as it was originally.
I would buy it if they did all of that, but unfortunately there is like a zero percent chance of them changing the story at all, even in a small insignificant way.
I don't know... I'm really up in the air on this one. I haven't played any of the DLC for ME3, because I was so disheartened and deflated by how awful the ending was that I just couldn't do it any more.
But now that it has been a couple years, I have to admit that part of me wants...
In all the times I went back and replayed these games to do different things with different Shepards, one thing I always hated about the first one was how horrid the gunplay is when compared to 2 and 3.
They improved how the combat felt SO MUCH that it made it very hard to go back to ME1.
It would never happen, but I would love to seem them revamp the first game to play the same as 2 or 3.
Saboteur was SOOOOOOO good.
What a great game.
Vanquish as well.
Maybe just buy your own games and you wouldn't have any problems like this.
"A beta program would only work if they physically mailed out the update on USB or gave testers a download link."
Why?
Xbox has been doing beta releases of their System updates for years, back to the early days of the 360. We don't get our updates on a USB or through a special link, we just get them and nobody else does. It's tied to the console ID.
Why couldn't Sony do the same thing?
Whine whine whine...
Nothing is ever good enough for some people.
