Understand I'm not bashing the value of the DLC at all. I don't really think it's a terrible deal, honestly, except for the fact that I think most of it was meant to be in the game to begin with and cut out intentionally.
My comment was just addressing counting the raid time as 20-30 hours.
And you made a good example using CoD or any other FPS as a comparison. Yes, it is replaying the same maps and modes repeatedly, no doubt.
...
I don't get these articles.
"it runs at 60 fps on PC"
WHO'S PC? lol
Every PC is different. I get it when you say it is 60 fps on PS or Xbox, because they are all the same.
I don't understand saying it's running at 60 fps on PC at all.
The raid was beaten in 6 hours yesterday. And that was by a team that had to figure everything out on their own.
Counting it as 20-30 hours is kinda bogus. I know some people will play it multiple times, but it isn't fair to count it that way.
Otherwise I would say that Dragons Dogma has 700 hours of content. I mean, that's how long I played it, so I assume everyone played it that much, right?
Agreed on all points.
I totally loved the game at first. Bought the digital guardian edition, even.
After seeing the lack of content, questionable design, and boneheaded changes since launch, I have zero desire to play the expansions, and will likely never play the game again at all.
Biggest disappointment ever.
Yeah I don't know, just an idea.
You have to take into consideration total play time.
There are the people like me that played non-stop and had multiple level 28's inside of a couple weeks, but I also have a friend who has been playing as much as time allows him since launch day, and just hit 29 yesterday by buying new armor that they released with the expansion.
So the players that don't get the opportunity to play as much might ...
Some people probably don't want to support them because it is pretty obvious that the DLC's were stripped out to make extra money, and the base game is made worse for it.
The only bad thing about SotC was that it didn't run that well on PS2. They SHOULD have waited and released it on PS3. (I know they eventually did a re-release, but I mean it should have been PS3 only)
Hopefully that is what is happening with Last Guardian.
I made the mistake of buying the digital guardian edition so I've already paid for this tripe.
I don't have the slightest urge to play it again.
I had a lot of fun playing this game with my buddies, but I have to admit that as a whole, the game is pretty awful.
And I'm super pissed at myself that I bought the stupid guardian edition and have already paid for the DLC's that I don't even care to play at this point.
It's just a guy joking around, quit freaking out, people.
It's 2 games, it wouldn't break this guy to shell out 120 bucks to do something goofy like this.
If it was Sony you guys would be laughing, applauding, and saying how much you love Kaz or Yoshida or whoever said it.
I'm all for co-op, but please don't make it an MMO.
:(
I'm with DragonKnight.
I don't understand the hate for AC Unity.
I've had only a few tiny issues like he said. Nothing "broken" about it at all.
My only issue with the game is the story kind of goes nowhere compared to previous games in the series. Still a good game though.
@xboxsupport is in the guiness book of world records for being the "most responsive brand on twitter".

I'm guessing that is what "awards" he is talking about.
I'm guessing that just the LOGIN servers were down.
So anyone logged in before they started the DDOS was able to remain logged in.
I was online the whole time, but my friend's list went down. I had friends that couldn't log in at all, though, later in the evening.
There are a couple explanations for this.
Either
A) They are also going to run a Beta on the Xbox, but PS4 is getting it early as a marketing gimmick.
or
B) They aren't really using this as a true beta test, and it's basically just a glorified demo.
To each his own.
Dead Island and Riptide were two of my favorite games of recent years.
My friends and I put literally hundreds of hours into those games.
I have a PS4 already.
I've owned every playstation, every Xbox, and every Nintendo save for the Wii U.
And I stand by my original statement, the Xbox One is my favorite of all of them.
I realize it is still new, but I'm talking about the way the console itself functions, not the game library.
Everything about it, from the controller to the UI, the TV integration to the snap function. It's just quite simply the be...
Couldn't agree more.
Hands down the best console I've ever owned.
If you have background updates you shouldn't be seeing any of them at all.
I seriously had no idea that was a thing.
