Everyone has their own idea of what is considered a "spoiler", but in my opinion, that review is full of them.
Maybe not the "plot twist" kind of spoilers, just the little bits and bobs of how things play out that you are better off experiencing for yourself.
I quit reading it within a couple paragraphs before he got to a mission I HADN'T done yet.
It's most likely rare because it isn't fun.
I never saw the appeal of all that extraneous crap in the GTA series.
It's pretty easy to avoid getting seen, at least as far as what I've played so far. But if you do get caught, it gets pretty scary in a hurry. O_O
Yeah I really love these guys' games.
Yeah I'm totally loving it.
I like climbing towers.
I love that game.
I played for 3 1/2 hours last night when I should have been going to bed and the game is amazing.
Can't wait to get home tonight and get back to it.
I don't know how it looks on PS4, but it looks and runs awesome on XB1.
Man this game is fun as hell.
RGB set to full looks terrible on a typical TV.
You gain nothing by doing this except you are tricking yourself into thinking it's better.
If you just calibrated your TV's color, brightness, etc, properly, you could get a much better image.
Not enough arguing over console sales, now we have to speculate and argue about how completely different games will sell against each other?
Seriously, this is stupid.
I'll preface my comment by saying I own both XB1 and PS4.
I'm a huge Gears fan and this game doesn't really appeal to me (yet).
Admittedly I haven't really been following it all that closely. I know that visually it looks spectacular. I know that I've seen clips that look like Gears-style cover shooting as well.
But of the few clips I've watched, I've seen far too much of it that looks like interactive QuickTime...
Or Gears of War.
That planet has hail storms that can kill you in a couple seconds.
People aren't thinking of the real possibilities here.
Don't try to think about playing the whole game on the glasses, think about them extending the content of a "regular game" off of the screen.
Think Dead Space inventory system in real life.
Yup. It always cracks me up when reviewers use "linear" as a criticism.
It can be a good thing.
You sound like a Sony commercial.
Same here. I didn't buy the Pre Sequel just because I assumed this was coming. Getting an updated BL2 is just a bonus. I'll be all over this.
I'll even buy the Claptrap edition if I can get one. I love that "silly little robot". ;)
I can hardly wait to see how terrible this game is going to be. :D
I'm in the extreme minority in that I think TLOU was decidedly mediocre, so I have to disagree with you.
His 5 reasons are all accurate, assuming I understood his broken english properly.
I don't think I need to give you a list of 5 reasons, though.
But I will take the time to say that you should not just go on a few reviews or even watching some gameplay. Unless you are totally against this style of game I recommend trying it yourself.
I loved Dead Island. Take that for what it's worth, as I know a lot of people didn't like that...
