I played Witcher 2 and didn't care for it.

My main gripe about it was character development in terms of combat. Regardless of what skills you chose as you leveled up, your character remained basically the same kind of two-handed sword using character. Maybe with a few different abilities or a fireball, but basically you're always a warrior at your core.

You need to put that text on a plain backdrop instead of over black with blocks of blue.

That makes it very hard for these aging eyes to read.

I still don't understand why everyone is so worried about the looks of it or the size.

I can only assume that the difference in opinion varies wildly with the age of the gamer.

I think kids want some space-age looking thing in their room to show off, whereas somebody older like myself just wants a black box under their TV that doesn't stand out, and just does it's job.

I honestly believe that most of the people saying it is pointless don't understand how it works.

And/or they turn their console completely off, so they won't use this feature and therefore feel the need to argue against it.

I would say that it is, except that I would expect the majority of the "Souls" fans are the hardcore players that would have already bought a PS4.

This article and most of the people here are completely missing the point of what they were trying to prove with this poll.

It wasn't a "Which platform can produce the best graphics?" poll.

It wasn't a "Side By Side exact pixel comparison" poll, either.

They intentionally used disparate scenes from the same game so you couldn't compare each blade of grass in every scene.

I totally agree with you (and with him) that the poll results are not perfect because of the use of YouTube.

I don't, however, think the clips should have all been identical. I agree with his reasoning for choosing this method.

The point was for people to be able to tell a difference during actual gameplay, not just look at two identical things and see a slightly sharper shadow or some extra grass in one image.

Fallout 3 was superior to New Vegas in every possible way.

It amazes me when I see people saying they liked New Vegas at all, much less liked it more than Fallout 3.

According to these numbers a lot of people barely played the game at all.

3.2 million players. 400 million zombies killed. 1.6 million medkits used.

So the average player has killed 125 zombies and used half of a medkit?

There have to be a ton of people that barely played bringing the averages down. My zombie kills are in the thousands and medkits used in the hundreds.

First off, the word "casual" is just a way for someone like you to feel superior to someone else. All gamers are gamers. There doesn't have to be a lower class gamer for you to lord over. We should all stick together.

Second, the type of person you are calling a "casual gamer" wouldn't be on gamespot watching comparisons and answering poll questions like this.

I can say the game is awful because in the actual parts where I was playing the game it wasn't fun. At all.

This is just my opinion of course.

I almost quit on more than one occasion but persevered just to see the end.

As a whole I would put the game near the bottom of all the games I played last gen.

I rarely ever leave a game unfinished.

I came really close with this one.

I'm with you.

I thought the characters and story presentation were fantastic.

But I thought the actual GAME was awful.

I played it once, and overall it was an ok experience, but I can't imagine any scenario where I would want to play it again.
