I wonder if it is always going to force you directly back into the game like that?
The way XB1 handles it, you boot to the dash no matter what (or boot to TV if you have that option enabled), then you have to select the game and it resumes.
I don't think I like it booting straight into the game like that. I'd rather get to choose what I do first.
I loved Titanfall, but all the requests I'm seeing here are basically asking for the game to NOT be Titanfall.
People want it to be CoD with Mechs, apparently, which is exactly what they made fun of Titanfall for being in the first place.
I'm guessing that is supposed to have an S on the end of it.
"Worried about the quality of the GAMES"
Meaning, the OTHER games that DO come out this year, not Uncharted.
There hasn't been so much as a single Screenshot of gameplay for Crackdown or for Scalebound.
I find it highly unlikely either of them is less than a year away.
Exactly my point as well.
But everyone nowadays is like "F*** the police" so naturally the cop is the bad guy.
I'm a Rams fan and I can't for the life of me figure out what the Eagles are planning to do with Bradford.
I just see NO upside to them on this trade, and I'm really confused.
On Topic: I agree that it seems like the natural progression, but I'm really skeptical that anything between what we have now, and full on "holodeck" will work.
Going part of the way towards total immersion will just make the non-immersive p...
I've been saying the same things as this article since day one, plus a sixth point, which is that it totally cuts you off from the outside world.
That'd be fine for the people that game in a room by themselves, but gamers are growing up and there aren't a lot of those types of gamers left.
I like that my girlfriend can see and hear everything I'm doing. We talk and joke about stupid stuff that happens or goofy things I do in the game or whate...
What about all the crap the other guy was saying? Threatening to come shoot up his house and all of that?
The guy that made this video should be serving time right now.
sadface
:(
It all comes down to competition.
They can't charge on the PC because they couldn't compete with existing products if they did.
Back in 2002, they gambled that people would pay for it on a console, though, and they were right.
Then PS+ came along, the competition changed, and their service changed with it. "Free" games, Gold not required for Netflix, etc...
It's all about what the market will bear, and ...
Modders are a couple guys doing something for fun, not a whole office full of people that have salaries that need to be paid.
I'm not saying I support crazy stupid DLC, I just don't except everything to be free.
Clogmaster I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
I love Dragons Dogma.
I have not the slightest clue what a frame input or proper cancelling is, though. I literally have never heard that terminology in my life.
@Summons, agreed about the story. The story was an absolute mess. I don't know if I truly "understand" it even to this day.
We'll have to agree to disagree.
Nothing against people that still like it, but my opinion of it has changed dramatically in recent years.
It's not just this game, though. I haven't played a Final Fantasy since FF9, and have pretty much quit playing anything distinctly "Japanese" as well.
It's just not my thing.
I would not say a "1/4 second delay" and "it works" in the same statement.
That would make most games all but unplayable.
I have to agree with his assessment of the game.
I loved it back then, but now...??? I can't imagine why I ever liked it. It really is awful.
You are either trolling or you have every single problem ever reported, plus some unique ones.
I'm leaning towards trolling.
I'm shocked I don't see a single mention of it here yet, but the obvious choice is Shadow of the Colossus.
Fantastic game, but once you know how to kill the colossi, it is never the same again.
So just a thought...
How do we know anything in this article is true?
I'm not saying this practice doesn't happen, I'm quite sure it does.
But how do we know that these anonymous critics are real? This article could be just as much a ploy for hits as a 2/10 for the Order.
Basically I'm saying I don't trust anything on the internet.
And now I need to go take my tinfoil hat off.
This has just become embarrassing.
They need to just shut up and start making a new game, and let their work speak for itself.
That likely won't ever happen.
Just out of curiosity, why don't you use Rest Mode?
