lol ok perhaps I should have been more specific.
Maybe I just don't get around to playing at all for a few days. The game is still in the same place when I come back, and I didn't have to do anything but turn my XB1 off the same as always. Not leave it on nonstop the whole time while I'm going about my business.
Why are PS4 players against having this option as well?
I'm looking forward to having it on both consoles. I can...
Disagrees? Really?
Check the store, you can download it now. You can't play it of course, but you can download it. Which kind of implies it was finished.
If you want to leave your console on for days at a time while you are sleeping or at work, have at it.
I think I'll go ahead and step in the future while you're living it up in 1985.
His point is that Halo anniversary was completely rebuilt with new graphics. Not just bumped up in res and framerate.
It has been downloadable on XB1 for a few days already... lol
It matters because, like it or not, everyone has to compare everything between the two.
A couple seconds either way won't really make a difference, but that's the way the gaming world is.
For the record, though, I believe XB1 is faster than that. I haven't timed it, but that seemed slow to me, especially the shutdown time.
XB1 has had it since launch. It was listed as "beta" for the first couple months, and it wasn't turned on by default, but it was there and it worked.
I have a couple problems/questions with this video.
What kind of PS4 has a diagonal light across the top indicating the power state? Has this thing been put in a different case?
And why does it take so long to shut down in the first place? Is that normal? I haven't used my...
If they include the multiplayer from all 3 of them, in one matchmaking, like the Halo: MCC, I'm all over it. (like the Halo: MCC only it works properly is what I meant)
I'd love if they could somehow make the first 2 games 4 player co-op, but I understand that it wouldn't work within the story, and that the levels were never designed or balanced for 4 players, either.
Nobody wants the game to fail, they just want to say controversial crap to get hits and make more money for their crap website.
Just my opinion.
No, I really didn't.
I haven't been paying much attention to this game and I honestly thought it was a multiplayer only title.
I'm not joking.
I didn't even know it was going to have a single player campaign. lol
I wish I saw what everyone else sees in the DS4.
I'm a fan of the Joystick position on the Xbox controller, let's just get that out of the way first.
But I can deal with the DS stick layout. That's not the end of the world.
I just hate the shape of the controller and how it fits in my hands. It's the least comfortable controller I've ever used.
I see so many people saying it's the best thing ever a...
To each his/her own.
To me, the quick boot from standby, the suspend/resume, and automatic background updates are all what makes the console(s) "next gen" to me.
If I turned my PS4 and XB1 completely off every time, I don't know that I would really feel like I have anything "new" at this point.
But that's just me.
I'm one of those gamers that will play for long stretches.
I have absolutely zero desire to get a VR headset.
Wearing my TV on my face adds absolutely zero value to the experience for me. I just don't see the appeal of it, especially once you weigh all the negatives.
Don't waste your time, Microsoft, VR is going to flop.
HARD.
That's like saying the cops shouldn't be able to do an undercover sting and arrest somebody.
It doesn't matter how the "crime" took place, it only matters that the "criminal was willing to do it.
Cheating is Cheating. If you take the bait, you deserve to be punished.
I thought the article said he ran the entire thing solo without guns?
Use whatever works for you, I just don't personally see a reason to do a full shutdown every time.
The amount of power saved in those down hours isn't going to amount to very much. Not enough for me to give up background downloads and everything else that comes with it.
Don't forget that Destiny raids are meant to only be beatable with 6 players, and a few days ago somebody soloed one of them without even using his gun.
People find ways around everything, this mode on Bloodborne isn't going to slow a lot of people down. lol
I'm glad somebody gets it.
Maybe we should go back to writing down 24 character codes to save our progress instead of saving to an HDD, just in case the power goes off while our console is on pause for days at a time.
