Not me. I thought it was the worst show ever.
Couldn't care less about a kickstarter sequel to games I never played, FF7 isn't a good game anymore by today's standards, and the Last Guardian looked super disappointing to me.
Horizon looked potentially cool but it's a long way off, and Fire Watch was interesting.
Then they bought a bunch of timed content, including CoD maps, the exact thing Sony fans used to consider the wor...
Me.
Who cares it if it running from the disc? TLOU, The Order, And Infamous Second Son aren't running from the disc. No games on either console are running from the disc. Everything is installed and run from the hard drive.
At least it isn't running from a laggy streaming service, and we don't have to pay for it. I tried it last night. It works. And it works REALLY well. All the naysayers that said it was impossible are eating crow right now.
I find this whole turn of events hilarious.
Most of Sony's show was about buying exclusive and timed content from 3rd parties. The exact thing that used to be the worst thing in the world according to Sony fanboys.
And now it's awesome and they did they right thing. So funny. :-D
Here's the thing. These Xbox CoD fans are mad. That doesn't mean they are going to go buy a ps4 now. It means they hate Sony for doing this.
Death and 4show, you got it right.
Xbox hands down is holding all the cards. Better games, more games, better UI, backwards compatibility, they are just rocking it out.
And Sony is buying early map packs for Call of Duty, the exact thing MS has been getting hated on for doing for years.
I was embarrassed for Sony watching their press conference last night. It was awful. I still expected the fanboys to think they "won", but I didn...
I suppose so.
Sony just isn't doing jack for me this gen. I've got a PS4 I've only used to play inFAMOUS, and that's it.
I wanted them to show me something that I finally NEEDED to play, and all I saw that looked interesting was Horizon and possibly Firewatch.
I loved Shadow of the Colossus, but thought that Last Guardian looked awful.
I wanted to be excited for something, ANYTHING, and I just wasn't....
Horizon looked potentially good, but not "mind-blowing".
The rest of that stuff did nothing for me.
I guess it just goes to show different tastes in games, and Sony caters to a specific taste that just doesn't appeal to me.
I was excited to see Last Guardian because I loved Shadow of the Colossus, but it looked absolutely awful. The monster looks realistic but the kid looks like a cartoon, the environment was all brown and blan...
So Microsoft shows a bunch of new games, new IPs, and blows everyone's mind with Backwards Compatibility, and you guys think that "loses" to a remake of a 20 year old game and a kickstarter advertisement?
What planet are you guys watching this from?
Sony's conference was the most boring and awful thing I've seen in years. I was embarrassed for them when I was watching it.
So yeah, between the two of them, Microsoft &qu...
I thought Sony had the worst conference since Usher and Kinect from the Xbox 2012 conference.
What did I miss that was so good about it? A kickstarter advertisement for Shenmue 3? A remake of a 20 year old game that will probably be multiplatform?
I just don't get why everyone thought they did good. Firewatch looked kinda neat, Horizon looked interesting... Last Guardian looked awful to me.
I'm asking a real question here, what di...
18 more than PS4. :)
Troll somewhere else.

Cross console multiplayer, yes.
No kidding mkis, it's no contest...
Play the game you already own for nothing, or pay to stream a potentially laggy version of it.
I am excited to see how this works when I get home, as I'm a preview program member.
OMG they knocked it out of the park today.
I like 3 better, but opinions vary wildly.
I'm playing New Vegas again right now, as I had never played the DLC for it.
I've got 60 something hours into it again and haven't started any of the DLCs, and have a ton of stuff left to do in the main game, too.
I love me some fallout.
Or Ryse.
Both ok games, but it's pretty obvious what they both prioritized.
It doesn't matter though, let the whiners whine. I thought the game looked fantastic, and I can't wait to play it, and play it, and play it some more.
You owe it to yourself to pick up Fallout 3 in the meantime and give it a shot.
I'd be willing to bet there is exactly a 0% chance that this game will be running at 60fps on consoles.
Agreed on all counts.
I'm pretty sure this was my overall favorite E3 presentation ever.
I don't agree at all that the "vast majority" of games are shooters that require using the right stick more than the buttons.
And I think that is exactly why the controller is designed the way it is. Over all genres of games, they figured out that your thumbs would spend the most time on the left stick and face buttons.
Especially if you look back to 2001 when the original Xbox launched. Shooters were CERTAINLY not a majority of games back then...
Wii U pro controller has both sticks up top.
I disagreed because I thing the DS4 is the most uncomfortable controller I've ever used.
I'm a pro only in regards to the amount of time I use my controllers, because I play a lot. I'm certainly no pro in my skill level, and honestly don't really even play all that many competitive games.
That said, just strictly based on durability, I'll likely buy one of these. I've had numerous 360 pads and even a couple XB1 pads start to have issues with the thumb sticks.... Catching around the edges, or a slight bit of tracking in one direction sometim...
