@friedgoat: Try using the R trigger to go directly to "mystuff" from anywhere on the home screen. Also, in what other UI do you not have to go into some sort of menu or app to see your download? It's really easy to get there and it works quickly. Also, it may not show the speed but it does show the percentage. I don't remember any console actually indicating the speed though. Yea this UI is amazing. I really can't say anything bad about it. Sure there is always room for improvement, but job well done by the UI team. I can't wait until Cortana is added. Also hoping to here about background music sometime soon. But yea, best console UI yet, hands down IMO.

I can't say how great of a comparison it really is with the end product, but I played the beta on both xbox one and ps4 and each looked really good. The ps4 version was just sharper and when swapping back and forth mid-game, I the x1 version looked a bit fuzzy for the next couple mins until I adjusted. I didn't see that on there. Then again, I haven't seen a single LED model look at good as my plasma, save for the OLED models. I know a few people with some good LED models that have very good refresh rates and the motion blur is still there, the movement still looks artificial and the black levels usually aren't on par. Plus the screen is less uniform.

@unwantedreamz...Well said man. I played Destiny for 1-1/2 months last year and just got tired of it...and I didn't even play a fraction of the amount that some have/do. I came back to it this August to prep for TTK and also got the TTK and the rest of the DLC content and it wad fun...and then it died out again for me. The game has tons more replay value than most modern shooters could hope for (MP aside, as there are a number of viable choices there), but it still just wears itself thin ...
@thedarkone...I believe there are aspects of the new TR games, especially the newest iteration, that ND could certainly take some inspiration from. Just because you are the best at something (and ND is the best, by and far), it doesn't mean you cannot take inspiration from other talented folks and their own creations. Well I don't know about you...but I don't choose my games based on what this guy or anyone else says. The score is not a direct comparison and any decent reviewer would tell you the score of one game is not necessarily relative to that of another. BLOPS3 is actually a really decent game. I didn't like the beta, but my brother picked it up and I've been playing it...truly it is a good FPS game. But Halo 5 is a diff game that ultimately set out to its own thing and, scores aside...
Honestly, I am not a dev, but I simply do not see how these guys can't best 720p on the x1. We have seen games that look to be much more demanding hit 900 and 1080p over the past year or so now.
Yea snapping was awful. The new UI is way more user-friendly and everything is more straight-forward and accessible. It is very fast for sure and the new guide is sooo much quicker along with all the tasks that come along with it.

Surprising honestly, but cool. No reason gaming shouldn't be diverse. The article still doesn't make it clear how they are getting the stats. If a mom buys her son a console, she technically owns it right? That same mother doesn't necessarily game though. So does that count? I think MS somehow thought they could market the xbox one as a media hub for the whole family while still retaining the hard-core gamer...and that is where they badly misjudged.

I always thought the 60fps was a high point and I still think the game looks great, but after some extended time I think:
1) make campaign 30fps and make it look better than most of the games out there while allowing for split-screen (I really don't care about split screen, but many, many Halo fans do).
2) make campaign a little more sandbox-like

Cmon, anyone who has played forza 6 and forza horizon knows that very good looking racing can be had on x1 in 1080p. That being said, this game seems to be a bit more taxing with lighting etc., and it is 3rd party which means they can't spend as much time trying to reach 1080 in the end. To say that racing games don't hot 1080p on x1 is kind of an unfair statement tho.
antifan, well said. I agree that it is important for the fact that people have the right to know. I just do not see that it is necessarily that big of a deal, at least for a lot of people. And yes, it is one thing to show interest in this and care about it, but to get actually UPSET over it would probably mean you are some form of fanboy. So, again, well said.

Having now gotten well into RotTR and also having played through the reboot several times, I actually can say that if faced with a choice, I really might go TR. UC is has consistenly knocked me out of my shoes and I love the franchise (I regularly try to sell my friends on it who only own x1 and tell them the ps4 is worth $350 for uncharted games alone).
