@ThePope...titanfall is one of the quickest matchmaking around and that's even with less people playing. Also, almost never any noticeable lag. they nailed it as far as matchmaking goes.

yea maybe street fighter from what ppl are saying, but ive never played it. taking into account, i cant really agree with what the article is saying. titanfall in particular...it may not have panned out how MS hoped it would, and it may not have had as much longevity as hoped for...but dont sit here and tell me that game was a let down

i like this idea, especially for the consoles. pc vs. xbox/ps4 could be tough for some games but i have to imagine those would be the games that are less likely to go ahead with this (FPS games as a broad example). But just in general, really nice option to have and it would be really cool to play gamers from other consoles.

side note...if this becomes more of a popular trend, could we expect less timed dlc etc?? that's to say, if gamers really take to this and there'...

@shadowknight...lol @ disagrees. the concept truly is the "cloud server" concept MS sold from the outset finally coming to fruition. the only thing that remains to be seen is how well it will all work...and all shadowknight said was that he cant wait to see how it turns out. what exactly are people disagreeing with?...the fact that he can't wait to see it or the fact that crackdown is said to use MS servers? FANBOYS ARE FUNNY

replacement consoles did not count as sales. however, 360's that broke when out of warranty and caused players to go purchase a new console, obviously did. I know many people who were ok after their console was sent in, but many still broke a year or so after warranty and that led to another sale. I still think people somewhat over-exaggerate the impact the RRoD had on sales, but it surely was significant.

I still think it is funny tho how when people point out that x1 is...

I really think this is a good article and the writer makes a good point. It is funny how x1 went from no choice to having the most choice, and I think that is a testament to just how serious MS/Xbox division were about righting the ship. I think that they have done a phenomenal job.

I am however a bit worried about the recent talk of an "upgradable" xbox one. If it is sort of a mid-gen add-on thats ok but you run the risk of dividing the community. If it means that ...

I won't lie...I'm not sitting here shaking in my chair after watching this...but it does look really good. The visuals are solid and take into account that some of the effects are really great and its a pretty impressive looking game. I'll be picking this one up, so I'll save final judgement for when I can experience the game with surround sound turned up on a big screen and immerse myself into the story. If I'm not impressed then, I'll be the first to admit it. I won&...

I thought Ryse was pretty fun too. I mean as a launch title it could have been much worse and some people blew it out of proportion.

I agree with the writer on Halo 5 SP (MP is amazing, IMO), because it really did fail to deliver on what the pre-release media sold us. I wouldn't really call the SP a disappointment overall, just more so when compared to previous titles or when weighed against the hype,

Titanfall might have been lacking on longevity, but ...

little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip for the ridge on the sticks and the area around them where the plastic tends to form a slight powder due to friction. really the alcohol works well for the whole controller to just wipe away germs or oils. i have to say tho, my x1 controllers are holding up great and also i havent noticed much build up on the stick. maybe wipe the chip-dust off your hands? lol

honestly im not surprised this guy has some good taste in games. all in all, i think he really is a talented person who can put together some really good things, and im not shocked to learn someone like that was into some good retro games......just shut the hell up once in a while, ya know?

I am playing rainbow six siege now, but i was playing halo 5 a lot for a while there. really good game. i was actually pretty good, but its such a fun game and the skill based matchmaking works well, so anyone can get on and have some fun. pick it up.

couldn't agree more. not saying i love microtransactions, but if it doesn't mean "play to win", then let those account for added profitability and drive dlc creation that is then free to all players. like for gears...let em sell some camo and player skins or stuff like that and let the whole community partake in major dlc.

@con3r: i'm with you dude...this is the type of thing that gets gamers a bad name....first of all, this game is a relic of days past and a clear cut example of how women are objectified not only in society but especially of how far behind japan is in gener equality....secondly, this is just immature digital weird jerk bait...seriously "booooomm, this how you finish a fight quickly"......shut up with that noise please. this is for nappy-bearded dungeon trolls to tug their rope a ...

@pumpactionpimp...haha "medicare reviews". sorry that just sounded funny.

Personally I don't might some level of downgrade so long as it is not ridiculous. At the time they showed the first demo, they may have been targeting that level of fidelity and then as time goes on concessions must be made. I personally think the game still looked great and ran solid for a beta (on both my ps4 and x1). For an open-world game it really looked quite nice and at least all o...

haha hell yea. These are, IMO, 2 of the best devs in the business. UC is already a massive success for ND and I really hope QB will get Remedy back into the mainstream spotlight. They surely deserve it and say what you want about x1 but it has come a long way and it's about time we get a truly different and original AAA exclusive (console) on that platform.

@uptown: thats not cool man. Wasnt aware of that issue

@Jackhass: what specifically do you mean by "behind the times"? Because in terms of services and infrastructure I would say they are right there as far as console online services go.
