Yea dude. I'm very big on doing certain things at certain times of the year. For instance, I always loved coming home on a cool spring night, sitting down with the windows open and just relaxing to a nice single-player experience. I am really excited to have both of these games (UC4 and QB) to do this with come this April.

But I think that is where something like Azure comes in. It is a large-scale resource and I am sure will continue to grow. MS has the resources to support and I think they should make it available to their partners for a price that makes sense while also making it much easier to run multiple titles on dedicated servers. I just don't know exactly how MS prices the service so for all I know they charge more than most devs are willing to pay (I hope that is not the case). At the very least, ...
@FlexLuger...
I agree that I hope the x1/PC versions run on azure one way or the other, but I also hope the PS4 version can too. It really is a reliable service and while I don't think the PS4 version would be crippled without it, there's no reason those gamers shouldn't get as smooth an experience as possible.
I have to somewhat agree. I am still interested despite the lack of a SP, but there are so many other choices and its still too bad that the only big WW2 release we are talking about will only accommodate MP gamers. Still though, I think it looks/sounds cool so far and I am surely backing it.
I just hope this does go over well and maybe some other devs will put out a SP WW2 experience. The tech has come far enough that the true scope of WW2 could now be experienced in ways w...
I know Azure is open for just about anyone, for a fee. So I hope that there is a way that EA and MS agree to let all platforms run on Azure. Setting aside any launch issues any game may have had, MP running on those servers is smooth as butter. I can still log in to Titanfall right now and find a smooth, lag-less match in a game mode like LTS where only a couple hundred players on online.
At the very least I hope that the X1 version and PC can still use Azure even if the PS ...
I'll be the first to admit I have zero desire to build a rig or deal with updating one. The lesser graphics on consoles are worth the trade off IMO considering that they still look amazing and are very immersive regardless. So I think many people feel this way. Plus, imagine how many people pick up a few triple A games per year maximum. Don't pretend that they still don't account for revenue and a large portion of hardware sales (think CoD, Madden etc, and think working parents, c...
@butchertroll: well you would now be counting January sales which is 2016 and EA clearly said sales for end of 2015. So at the end of 2015, they estimated 55 million. Sony said 35.9 at the very beginning of January, which basically meant 2015. So, take 35.9 out from 55 and you get 19.1. X1=estimated 19.1. PS4= estimated 35.9. What doesn't anyone get? I'd hate to see some of you people take an SAT lol
@flipswitch...way to take a legitimate article about UI issues and turn it into a resolution orgy you fanboy.
As for the article, I agree but only partially. Most of what is listed does not happen often. I think the party system became better to the point that it is no longer a serious issue. I have never seen my controller disconnect, unless I happen to plug it in, in which case it may disconnect and reconnect very quickly. The install times are probably the most annoying, t...
@uptown soul: way to be specific lol. 19.1, 20...same crap really in the big picture. But I get where you're coming from. Either way, both consoles are selling strong so that is good.
agree...major dlc is free to all and comes as an update. some nice skins etc can be had for in-game currency. those who buy season pass have easier access to dlc operators and get them 1 week early. all other paid content either gets you in-game currency faster (those who don't buy them stll get in-game currency pretty fast) or gets you some extra paint for guns.
does that really sound so unfair?
i will say however that one sort of crappy practice on ubis...
looks like it could be really fun
@jmanzare...exactly. it cant hurt to have the option to play it. i personally dont like the new cods much and it is fun to go back now and then and re-live the old games. its nostalgic and quite honestly they still play really well. again, just a nice little option to have if it is your thing. clearly it is not rosweeson's "thing", so he'd rather make it seem as though a quick cod session now and then will stop anyone from doing anything else or that it is somehow bad to hav...
dude its BC. no one is trying to re-sell you the game. its just there for those who miss playing this game. what exactly are you passing on?
i think the rumor part is referring to the fact that it could be coming very soon and that someone could buy dlc for it on the spanish x1 marketplace. but the fact that it is indeed coming is no rumor at all.
idk man, ive been wanting a new streets of rage for years now!! bring back yuzo koshiro for the soundtrack too please.
Well, I think the new consoles will launch soon enough that "8K" would not yet be around in the mainstream if at all. I actually question the ability to output demanding games in 4k next-gen. Hopefully they can get that done though. 7.1/atmos is probably a given..I hope. BC, if the x83 architecture is still used, will probably be around as well.
Yea I would say that all they really need to do is launch with the same mentality that they have now adopted following the launch fiasco of X1. Launch a console that is as powerful as reasonably possible for a console along with a nice UI more similar to the NXOE and include a controller with similar features to the elite version. Try for a sleeker package (hopefully still almost as quiet as current console). Then continue to increase focus on first-party titles. Nice, simple messaging to the...
idk about boosting the graphics...i did get the expansion pack along with perfect dark a few years later. anyways, yea i didnt play the game much at home and my cousins old tube tv was always really dark and i just remember never knowing where i was going and getting lost in caves lol. i do remember the insane guns, namely the one you speak of that was pretty much a nuke.
yea IDC how many employees they have...if they don't take the time to deliver some decent characters/story etc. then yearly releases are a bad idea. Watchdogs had potential. Most of Ubisoft's games are at least good, some are great. But they majority of what they have been putting out just feels like it needs some more time. Open-world is fine if it is done right. Not every one has to be as expansive or loaded with side content as games like The Witcher 3 or Fallout (not to knock thos...
