Not surprised by those sales. It's the usual 360 on top, then PS3 then PC (including steam)
Surprised people are buying it at all. Generic, old gameplay, bargain bin material, if that :)
Shows 360 owners will pick up anything, as long as their are guns.
Wow
If this ends up being true, looks like there will be no need for my gaming pc anymore.
PC used for The Witcher 2 atm (coming to 360) and Diablo3 (PS3 release?)
RIP PC :(
Don't get me wrong, the game is pretty good, but it does get pretty repetitive. The gameplay is pretty limited (climb buildings, fire at enemies, grind on rails) thats about it. The ice powers are a little freshing, was getting tired of firing electricity all the time.
The game is awesome at the start but then the limited gameplay shows itself after a while.
The story is awesome, which is probably 60% of the reason I am still playing.
Who the hell still games on such small screens?
24" a screen so small, destroys immersion.
1080p on 24" screen - totally pointless as you won't recieve the benefits from 1080p on a small screen.
Would be great size to put in the kitchen, watch while you're cooking, but now it seems it's just a monitor (no tuner)
Useless for gaming. Reminds me of those poor PC gamers still stuck in the stone ages....
It would be nice if Nintendo catered for the core games, thats when they were at their best. (SNES)
I think the damage has already been done though, Nintendo are now looked upon as the 'casual' of the 3 companies.
Delivering core multiplat titles to the platform is a start, but not enough. It really needs core exclusives of it's own.
Of course catering for the kids, like they did for the Wii will continue.
...
LOL at Sony defense force just because Insomniac went mulitplat.
No offense, but Insomniac's games aren't THAT great. Ratchet & CLank was fun, but Resistence seriously? Couldn't get more average & generic then those games were.
The PS3 UI is MUCH MUCH better then the 360 layout.
Everything is organised neatly. 360 one is more dis-organised and scattered.
PS3 one is more organised, clean and less cluttered.
I never said that was the only part that matters. Just because a game as more things to do, doesn't automatically make it better, but Crackdown is just as fun as inFamous (on foot), but this is where inFamous ends.
I myself love both games equally (gameplay wise) but inFamous having the better story.
But at the same time, I can totally understand people saying how inFamous is limited in it's gameplay mechanics.
I never said I pr...
First of all the comparisons some people are making with Crackdown, saying how can they give that game a higher score.
First of all, I LOVE inFamous, but those saying this, ahev you played Crackdown? It actually offers more gameplay elements then inFamous does.
inFamous your just on foot, the only upgrades you can do are your powers. Crackdown has mulitple upgrades (health, weapons, jumping, speed) not to mention you can actually do much more in Crackdown...
LOL 24-inch?
WHo the hell would want to play their videogames on this. Totally destroys immersion with such a small screen.
And it's 1080p? Totally useless. Need at least 40-inch to notice 1080p.
This is like playing PC games. LOL
Hopefully the main quest is better then what Oblivion offered.
Regardless, it's all about the side-quests and exploration! :D
So there goal is to release casual games AND core games? Lets hope so
Not to sure how well core games will sell on the Wii:U. THe majority of people when they read 'Nintendo' or 'Wii', it automatically associates with casual games.
Be interesting to see how well games like Batman and BF3 sell on the Wii:U
As for the Wii:U being 1080p, I only have a 42" HDTV, so I won't be able to 'see' the benefits/impro...
Consumer perspective is what is important for us gamers.
Yes, from a business perspective (profits etc) MS have done well, and is important as profits usually brings more games, but those profits have not turned into more core exclusives.
MS failed big time from a core gamer perspective.
LOL that guy looks incredibly silly haha.
This is a joke right?
Not surprised by this.
Whats the point of these type of stores, when you can just go online and get netflix, or better yet, download the movies for free.
The kids will enjoy this 'game' :)
LOL @ playing CORE games on a Nintendo console.
BF3 is going to be ohhhh so lonely on Wii:U. Hardly anyone playing.
It would be nice if the controller was more ergonomic, like 360 style and still have the screen in the middle.
Instead they went with a brick style pad.
I really don't understand how Nintendo don't think these things through. It may feel comfortable when actually holding it, but I doubt it
Don't think this game would be fun with the Wii:U's controller style.
I can immediately tell what will be shown on the controller screen - the motion detector beeping away, instead of it being shown on the TV. :D
You've definitely adapted to it, as have I.
The smaller deadzone and elevated sticks are great BUT it's the 360's more natural shape and natural placement of left analog stick that makes it preferred, for FPS/TPS.
WHen I was solely a DS3 user (before touching the 360) and people saying how the 360 controller is more immersive and natural for FPS/TPS, I didn't understand it, as I found the DS3 so comfortable and I thought it felt natural. ...
