BF3 for me.
Don't get me wrong I am still excited about Uncharted 3, but it will be pretty much more of the same, just different location and story. Same gameplay.

Gears? Great game, but PS3 has the superior Uncharted series.
So really - PS3 owners aren't missing out on anything. The games are either not that great, or theres a superior counterpart on the PS3.
Sadly theres hardly any reason to own a 360 now. Theres Gears 3 and thats it. Everything else can be played on PS3 and playing ONLINE is free.
Unless you want to chat with your friends during a game instead of playing the game and getting immersed.
If you exclude useless features such as cross game chat, PSN IS Live GOLD, but free.
Maybe the 720 will catch up with exclusives eh?

MW scoring 96 on Metacritic is proof enough that the site is meaningless, as some of the time, in this case at least, a high metacritic score for a game which is actually average.
Inaccuracies with lots of average games getting high scores. Halo is another great example, so spouting high metacritic scores for GAME A is meaningless, as it doesn't always give an indication that the game is good.

Thats the problem with achievements, they really don't indicate whether the person just played a lot of games or whether he 'platinumed' a lot of games?
He could of just got all the easy achievements from A LOT of games to get to that total, but hasen't actually gotten 1000g/1000g for many games.

The Witcher 2 is awesome. Don't forget Diablo 3 though, I can't wait for that. These 2 games are the only reason I still have a gaming PC.
Now news came out that The Witcher 2 is going to 360 and possibly PS3, so that leaves Diablo 3 and who knows what will happen with that.
Looks like I won't need to upgrade my PC anymore, since there are hardly any games left on it. I'll miss the days of HL2, KOTOR, Quake 3, UT.

Looks like you're butthurt because PC is only good for The Witcher 2, which I am thoroughly enjoying but other then that it's useless and 360 is only good for Gears, which again I can't wait, but other then that it's uselsss.

Thats the beauty of the PS3, it pretty much has everything AND MORE then the other platforms.
360 has it's usefulness with Gears and I am thoroughly enjoying The Witcher 2 on my PC, other then that though theres hardly anything attractive about the other platforms.
I just hope this lack of competition "gaming wise", doesn't stop Sony from releasing these high quality titles.
Difference is theres hardly any reason to get a 360.
People who don't ahve a 360 aren't missing much at all, though people who don't have a PS3 are missing out on a hell of a lot more
NEWS FLASH Microsoft - You have already lost your way with XBOX.
Usually consoles IMPROVE over the years with their game lineup, like PS3 has. You guys have made the 360 go backwards. It has less quality titles then before, I guess thats what you get when you put $$ towards temporary exclusives and don't bother investing in studios.
720 is going to be in big trouble next gen if the current 360 lineup is anything to go by.
Microsoft will counter this by showing $$ signs and profits in regards to Kinect. That's fine, good for the company, but not really good for the core gamer.
You see Microsoft this is how you do things. You know secure studios so you can produce GAMES.
Xbots will say 'Sony securing these studios hasen't helped them with their game sales'.
Yet they are forgetting 1 important thing - Sales does not equal quality.
Securing these studios pretty much cements in the fact that the gap between both consoles, in number of quality titles is increasing. 360 is being left behind.

COD will outsell BF no matter what. The bug ridden BO on PS3 didn't hurt it (it sold 8m+ on PS3). Activision sticking to P2p didn't hurt it and won't.
