@Goldby
I think he did a somewhat poor job at explaining and describing what he meant.

I believe he's talking about the "more than two genders", "everybody is beautiful", "check your priviledge" type people who have started working on Bioware. Different youtube content creators have documented some of the ridiculous things that this type of people have said at Bioware. Like the lead writer (at least couple of years ago) saying that...

Surprised the differences are this small TBH. I expected even +10 second differences.

At least it seems that no matter what (decently fast) SD card you buy, its not going to be worse than the Switch cartridges themselves.

As far as I know, a few from the creative lead left after ME3. I dont know how many exactly, but apparently enough to make a difference.

On PC, there has been some incredible graphical showcases, but every time the standard gets higher, our eyes get better at distinguishing the fake from reality.

I remember how the original R&C looked just incredible when I played it for the first time, and same for the ones on PS3.... But now its jarring to see how much they were not as incredible as I remembered them to be.

Personally, I think alone the draw distance is the biggest thing preventing f...

And the now current gen consoles were supposed to have Avatar level graphics. I remember seeing those articles a lot in 2010-2011

Well, I would say its more like Ghost Recon, than the previous entries. Ofcourse, assuming we are talking about the original FPS GR games, and not the third person ones.

I did enjoy the beta considerably more than the Advanced Warfighter games, and I assume Future Soldier wasnt any better.

Wildlands should have gone little further, but I think its sufficient at the moment.

This is probably not a popular opinion, but I feel that her past doesnt really reflect well in her current character. (not really spoilers) Pretty much all interaction she had as a kid was with her foster father, so I would expect that aspect to show up in her dialog, but she's socially butter smooth. Havent played through the game yet, so I dont know if this somehow plays a part in the story/character later on.

Tbh, more social awkwardness would have been pretty endear...

Mehh, theres probably a light discussion to be had about male/female ratio of characters in online games, but if you got to pander or just want to include more women because many have asked so... just alternate between male and female with every new character. Rainbow Six Siege so far has had a new attacker and defender operator with every new content patch, and one has always been a male and one female. Nobody has been bothered by it.

From what I have heard, its all reserved for PS4 after the formating.

I wonder if you could "trick" PS4 with partions. Now PS4 recognizes if you plug in a eHDD, and will tell you if its compatible or not. I tried my old USB 2.0 500Gb eHDD, and even though PS4 says "database not supported on this device", I can still use it as a media storage device (and now it works, unlike before when it was really wonky).

I wonder if you could leave ...

In which case they would absolutely need a KB/M support.

I dont care if they separate them from controller users.

@others
Depends what you consider as piracy at this point.

I do think that in this case, piracy would be an accurate term. WiiU install base is small, and many core gamers are still very skeptical of the Switch, so piracy seems super likely.

Downloading decades old games at this point would be a cheap mans best entrance to the retro gaming, because availability, required hardware and/or obscene prices for physical copies wouldnt be an issue. Its ...

I am thankfull for their support. Even though I feel it might be incredibly hard for them to gain the trust of many players, at least they are trying.

Its possible to recover a good playerbase with good support, like Ubi did with RS:S, and last I heard The Division was also doing decently.

My only enjoyment related issue with NMS at the moment is the lack of FOV slider on PS4.

I mean, it sure is playable. Though, Im curious to hear if its playable to the end, since emulated games can face issues around every corner. Especially if the game became supported just recently.

PCSX2 has now reached a 95% playable rating, and that means 95% of the games can be finished, but that doesnt exclude any graphical or performance issues.

I doubt anyone will be playing through BotW on the emulator just yet... their enjoyment would be severely h...

I like the idea of using the joycon's batteries to power Switch, but I think the decision was made for practicality/usability reasons.

The biggest issue being that how much more will those batteries give you playtime vs should that be reserved for the several hours you want to/could use the joycons? DS4's battery was 1000 mAh IIRC so thats probably around the same ballpark as Switches Joycons.

My phone has a 3200 mAh battery, which should be compa...

They must have/leave something for the sequel/s too, which I believe they have hinted at. Sony wants Aloy to be considered a new mascot of sorts, so a sequel does sound a possibility.

I just wonder how much they can do with this setting without spreading stuff out too thin, or getting more loose with their weapons/enemy designs (stray away from the ideas they currently have in the game).

I think there are a few places that feel like relevant, but oddly em...

I think the fatigue is there, but its related to the "themepark" style of how many create them. Zelda probably doesnt fall to that category (cant say, because I have no means of playing it), but Horizon definitely has tried to avoid it. The world is a bit more coherent and also feels like less of a "planned fun ride". I also feel that the world is quite a bit more compact than in other open world games, so that could also help with the game not feeling too big and overwhel...
