Well, anyone not wanting to get spoiled, look away.
The story of the expansions isnt exactly related to the main story at all. Its about its own side story (the Painter, and her painting). The first DLC was about showing her flame, initiating the burning of the rot in Ariandel, and inspiring her to paint a new world. The second DLC is all about getting her the pigment/tracking down Gale who went to search the pigment.
First and foremost, you need to reali...
Some people tend to be little salty, as it feels like the expansion stops dead on its tracks. I do think that they should have given a little better indication of the ending, but overall it was a great expansion.
I prefer the second one before they just made the open world a amusement park, BUT the FC2 also did have its fair share of problems.
I really hope they could find a decent middle ground, and refresh the formula again.
@bumbleforce
People have different reasons, but I value aesthetics quite a lot (Bloodborne's appealed to me more), and Bloodborne also seemed to have higher production values. This translates to fully orchestrated OST and better animations and visual presentation.
Weapons allowed considerably more creativity in their use, and while enemies were fast they rarely had zero wind-up like quite a few enemies in Dark Souls 3.
I think the main game b...
Im agreeing, only because Bloodborne doesnt seem to be built in a way that it can be expanded well. Sure there are other locations and lore in the game, but like Dark Souls, those places were never meant to be explicitly explored. Bloodborne is story wise finished.
Neither really was the original Dark Souls that expandable, so sadly some of the stuff later felt like retconing some story points or ideas. I do like that they did try to make every game different conceptually i...
@PurpHerbison
Ehh, part of it is the fact that From has never made technically sublime games, and Bloodborne probably does perform the best from the bunch. By their standard, the performance is pretty decent.
I get what people mean when they say it doesnt perform well, but it really is not "terrible". There were so many games last gen that actually ran really bad.
That said, if they did get rid of the pacing issues, and improv...
2 exclusives? I have only heard that they will make exclusives, but haven't specified any numbers.
If that is correct, its gonna suck for others, since I would wager that the Armored Core reboot is the multiplat game, and whatever "Dark Fantasy" game they were working on, is a exclusive.
But reviews are built on objective factors, and topped with subjective opinions. It largely depends on your view of what you appreciate in games.
For example, do you prefer open world, open ended or more linear experience? Do you prefer your open world to be more realistic/believable with many open areas with nothing to do, or do you like more compact and fantasy like open world with many different biomes? Do you prefer gun porn over more limited but unique arsenal?
Because its possible
Nevermind the site, there in general seems to be way much more politically charged articles coming from multiple sources lately.
Replying to this comment so you see my reply.
More specifically I was talking about obscenities like Primed Chamber (like, 50 + couple stream giveaways are confirmed to exist), or the unobtainable Excalibur Prime. Other additional stuff that I believe you cant trade, are the cosmetics in the Prime Access packs.
Thats about it. Event mods can also be a massive pain to obtain, but they do occasionally resurface in a new event, or at Baro's.

The only winning you are doing, is winning all the spiciest space farm loots.
What?
Its a coop shooter and you can get like 99.7% of the stuff there either by trading or getting the stuff by yourself. There are like a few absurdly expensive super rare mods or things (some that no longer are attainable in normal ways) that cost insane amounts of platinum, but it would be ridiculous to claim that they are even necessary.
If you know how to play, you can even obtain platinum (the "premium" curency of this game) relatively ea...
Its more like they upped the framecap to 60, and let it run to the best of its capabilities. Minimal effort, but better than nothing.
It doesnt have to be a clear stance on either side. Jon fked up. Instead of thinking what he said, he rambled. I recognize the points he was trying to say (at least most of them), but incoherently he always framed the issues in a way that they sounded racial.
Its hard to defend someone, when you are not even exactly sure what he's saying.
This is not pandering to the SJW's. This is just them trying to distance themselves from Jon and his mess.

So, thats about it? Thats like considering Mulan trans.
There even are trans characters in Horizon? I think Im past half point easily (gone through all the segments in the world map, and now going back to the begining areas), and all I have noticed is one gay guy.
"It’s not unheard of though for digital titles to release on Thursdays. So it’s possible (albeit unlikely) that Gran Turismo 7 releases on that day or the site has it mismarked"
I hope I dont come off as a dick, but this really should be news worthy. I see different dates on many online retailers constantly, and sometimes even for items that officially dont even exist. Another (finnish) retailer listed a physical release of Firewatch for over a year now, and the d...
The Bloodborne one is pretty mehh if I recall correctly. The Hunters Dream them sold in the store is infinitely better, if you are interested about a good and calm dynamic theme.
Glad that its finally going to be a thing. Pitty that the graphics are nowhere near as good as in the first 2 years of trailers, but it still looks okay.
Cool that its also getting a retail release.
