From didnt get bought by a publisher AFAIK. I think it was just some sort of company and not a publisher. They have even later said that they wont be meddling with From's stuff.
Im willing to entertain the idea that a game can be so influenced by other games, that it loses its originality a little bit.
But this is Loltaku. Just walk away.
Take your chillpill and wait. Theres been some speculation and observations that suggest that the cult is very closely based on Scientology and not Christianity. Some rumors have even suggested that there is a character that is trying to satirize Tom Cruise in the game.
Until we know for sure, Im going to be pretty reserved about any potential political messages.
So, my interpretation of what has happened is as follows:
1) Team announces the game. They use UE4 and showcase the game assets to represent what the actual game would look like.
2) Like many other dev teams, they experience severe delays while working with the UE4 and putting all the design ideas and game assets together into a game is very slow.
3) Sony is doubtful and the team is fairly fresh who dont have much acclaim behind them.
...
Makes sense. The first shot doesnt show too much of a difference in shadows, though.
I guess theres still going to be some difference between the color saturation/post processing between the two versions, but TOD probably makes the most difference in these two shots. I hope the PS4 version ends up with little more color, since I would find something inbetween these comparisons the best to my liking. Too saturated can look little goofy (since the games Rime takes inspiration...
@gansta_red
I think they admited that the original trailers were all just in-engine videos with game assets. It was not any actual gameplay where you could control the character.
They were also originally supposed to be using UE4, which they now dropped for Unity.
You could argue that part of the issues were caused by UE4, since it has been often reported that even bigger studios experience major delays and issues with UE4. Deus Ex: Man...
Well, thats not exactly what he said, but kind of. He was talking about how after working with the small confines of Icos castle, he wanted to do something really open. After that, he wanted to do something more controlled again (TLG).
That made him miss a more open world of SotC. All we know is that his next game will probably be open world. The idea of SotC was very unique, so I doubt he's going to make a SotC 2.0
I would wager some sort of open wo...
It was a really good game. I never got to experience the MP that much, though. Only got to play in LAN with a friend, and it was fun, but I missed more players.
The singleplayer used to be pretty damn scary.
Bonemaster Nito and the dirty maidens of Seath ( ͡͡͡͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
Can agree to that. I have never had a need to buy another DS3.
Vegas games had a solid story presentation, but it wasnt awfully interesting.
I just want a good solo/coop Rainbow Six game with Raven Shield as the base idea for the game, but with all the tasty modern improvements they could make to it. Raven Shield still plays fine, but graphically it hasnt aged well (sounds are still great, though).
I really hope they are going to do one after Siege. I cant imagine them making a sequel to Siege, so a coop/tactics base...
Season Pass owners wont miss on anything since the new operators do come out but later. The only thing everybody gets screwed in, is that we are going to get one less map which would have been free for everyone.
Sucks, and I havent experienced massive issues with the game, but I appreciate their commitment, because they do support the game pretty well. Really, my only major issue so far is how wonky the matchmaking can get at times. Stuck at menu, breaking squads, sometimes...
Edit. Im dumb.
Though, I do think it might be fake. Something just doesnt quite sit right...
Are there any other people confirming this? Not that I dont think multiplat release is very possible, but image like this seems incredibly easy to stage or fake.
Or how about American ISPs get less shitty and offer decent connection with unlimited data? Other than downloading, gaming isnt a massive data hog, so you only need a solid and reliable connection.
Im just not exactly sure whats your point with the examples. If you want a better connection, you can upgrade to faster or type thats the most reliable in your area. You can even swap ISP if theres a better one in your area (though I have heard that changing ISPs and stopping a p...
If they really need to milk money to make up for all the production costs, I prefer this method instead of many DLC's that will possibly fracture the userbase.
Hell, this is even better than cosmetic purchases, because even a player who doesnt put any money towards these boxes can get some stuff out of them.
Its really impressive that even the disc drive got repaired. Last time I heard about it, some said it was probably never going to be fixed.
On the trailer:
- Orchestrated OST
- Isolated and grand locales with varying aesthetics
- Based on the few seconds of combat we saw, methodical and built on the quite basic dodgeroll/hit by hit combat of Souls.
Things that we dont know:
- How ambiguous is the story telling approach?
- How is the world design going to be structured?
- How is the atmosphere going to be like?
- Minimalist or content and feature ric...
A new DOOM might be too soon? The new one ended in a cliffhanger kind of? Maybe a short standalone expansion?
A new Wolfenstein honestly seems very likely. Wasnt there like some teaser about "Project Titan/Colossus" speculated to be about a new Wolfenstein?
The game was just revealed and the cancer is already spreading.
Meanwhile we dont even know what exactly is the political message or agenda.
