No matter what Patcher says the opposite is always true. I guess he does it for clicks, because I guess it's worked for several years now.
in case you haven't heard it was shown to come out, I don't know if it was ever confirmed or not though, it could have just been a mistake, but they showed an ad during summerslam replay that had PC box in it.

I still play D3, it's pretty fun but once you get the basics of the gear you need, it's very hard to progress satisfyingly. You can have the items you're supposed to have, but you obviously want higher rolls then what you have, so essentially you're looking for incredibly rare "perfect" rolls of already rare gear. Nothing like finding several rare pieces of the items you need but all are worse then what you have and there is no way to make that gear count for anythi...
@strangeaeon This game is beyond standard AAA, no other game has this graphical fidelity and attention to detail. This is a game built from the ground up as a PC exclusive AAA title that will stress the best GPUs that are not even out yet, it's not going to be a port of anything with blurry textures or going to be watered down to make sure they can port it to consoles later, or for people with older PCs and outdated hardware, they are not going to hold back the game either, Chris Roberts ...
@Gamerbeyond
seems you lack reading comprehension, another clueless person who skims over posts in a hurry to make their point? Conceptual Art and Models? lol, did you miss the fact, all there trailers are in game AND you can play the Alpha dog fighting Module since several months ago??? And they just released a racing module. Do you bother to check anything before you spout your ignorantly misinformed opinions.
I really have no idea why people think this is a cash grab, not only have they released a dog fighting A.I. Alpha they have added multiplayer dog fighting and just recently Racing. It all has went exactly to plan and they keep on polishing it while implementing what they learn into other projects and using the online gameplay data to get the persistent universe eventually working smoothly.
This is a AAA game that is absolutely massive in scope, this is truly a Man's dream...
the "tech" inside these are just NFC tags which can be bought for about $1.10 a piece on Amazon, I would imagine Nintendo gets them for pennies since they buy in bulk, straight from the source.
Just because it's free doesn't mean they don't need to sell it. They need players interested to sign up for Subs or buy the microtransactions.
Not really. Anyone is free to look at tons of Youtube videos featuring the game + mods and it still looks great.
With Ice Enchancer, HD textures, and a car mod package, it could easily be passed off as a next gen game and people would drool all over it. The only thing that is bad are pedestrians.
@jb1rd90
just give me 50 bucks and you can have these FREE GAMES!!!!
I played the beta and while my friend seemed to really enjoy it I found it pretty bland overall and was honestly surprised how he could be hyped over it.
I could see myself giving it a go when the game gets much cheaper and use the first free month included + waiting for some overall game improvement from patches is usually a decent idea for a MMO.
I did appreciate the condensed skill selection. I've grown tired of having to manage 40+ skills with toolbar...
Damn hipsters!
No publisher wanted to back a AAA space sim game with millions of dollars because supposedly no one wanted one, thus why Chris headed to crowd funding options.
Yup, you may not see anything wrong with this post but look closer. Some GTA fanboy is fuming that you would even consider buying watchdogs. There is no mercy on N4G as there is always an extremist who disagrees. Best not to care about votes one way or the other.
so your saying 2 games are worth a 15 buck sub = 30 and sony is offering a plan that lets you play both and more for 15. Hmmm.
I dont know about micros in other games, and PS2 does have expensive ones but a sub boosts your xp fairly well (especially if long term) as well as give you station cash. Whether its worth it or not is up to the individual but if you play PS2 with a sub, you dont need the cash shop, as equipment can be earned at a semi decent pace. The only thing that...
Another sad fall of a great game heading into the irresistible (for devs and publishers) pay to win category or pay so you dont have to grind your life away.
Sadly If I have learned anything it's that they can easily lose many sales and still come out way ahead, because people with lots of money DGAF what they spend it on. You have people spending 100s of dollars and even thousands for microtransactions these days, it more then makes up for the gamer who drops the game be...
I think they are hoping to mainly get rid of it because it is too hard for some good niche games to get approved or even noticed, so in a sense they seem to want to replace it with something else that lets even more good games rise to the top, instead of just a basic popularity contest, they'll just have to keep experimenting till they find a good system.
I would love to see modders redo gta 4 in a, hopefully, vastly improved GTA V engine
THey are trying to make it work universally for all games, as the track pad can simulate a D-Pad for example. But it's primary focus is to have top notch mouse like accuracy so that PC gamers or realy just anyone who buys a steambox, doesnt have to sacrifice that if they want to sit on a couch and play an FPS or something. Playing a PC FPS with analog sticks is like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
The steam controller may end up being good for everything, but most people ...
