I don't think they'll announce anything till GTA online starts falling flat on shark card sales. They aren't going to do anything to disturb that. If they announce the next RDR people probably won't be willing to invest as much in GTA:O since it will start the countdown to GTA:O communities death as they plan to shift over to RDR.

I'm all in favor of gaming on PC, because it's my favorite, but the game is coming out to next gen consoles too if you have one.
just about all consoles that I can really remember had common problems, especially those first editions. The original PS1 had CD issues, but flipping it over made it work again. Original PS2 had disc read errors ( I returned Gran Turismo, 3 times before I realized it was my system instead). PS3 seemed better than most but still had YLOD, Xbox 360...we all know that one, I returned 2 for RROD and one for a common Error that bricked the system, I had to give up on that system since this was all...

lack of weapons doesn't bother me if gameplay is good. I played Quake 3 for nearly a decade with the same 8 weapons every match. This was back when gameplay was king and you didn't need unlocks to give a reason to keep playing.
What matters most is memorable maps and game modes, not unlocking 100 guns and only using about 5 of them.

I've seen it in arguments a million times, it shouldn't matter if all games come to PC because the console fans prefer consoles because ease of use, hardware is cheaper, playing with a controller on a couch, etc... at least that's what they tell me.
people migrated to PS4 because it was 100 damn dollars cheaper and more powerful...lol and MS had a terrible E3 on top of that with their DRM scheme that they took back to the drawing board.
They aren't praising Win 10 they are praising Vulcan which essentially brings "to the metal programming" but is not locked to one OS.

Xbox 1 won last years holiday sales in US and they had a weak lineup, but their console was typically cheaper or had better bundles. Xbox 1 will actually have some heavy hitters this holiday season and will still probably be cheaper as MS will want to increase its install base again. Sony has no answer for Forza 6, Gears, and Halo - all mainstream audience system sellers. if anyone would read the article it just says it basically amounted to needless confusion or stress, so everything will be on sale the entire sale period so no flash sales will be needed. Different games will still get their chance to shine on the homepage, but sale prices will remain till the entire sale concludes.
