I've put roughly the same amount of time in BF 1942, 1943, CoD 1+2+3+Modern Warfare+2+BO, Battlefield BC+2 and quite a few other FPS. I realy don't see the problem.

In over 150 hours playing on PS3 I've had some minor slowdown here or there and one quest that wouldn't complete because a follower got stuck somewhere. This was remedied by restarting at my last autosave. Oh, and my save file is well over 10mb now. Not doubting you all aren't having issues, it's pretty well known by now, guess I've been lucky so far. It's not like you're mowing down women or children in a school zone. Nathan Drake is killing seedy gangsters, hired hitmen, and whatever other cliched bad guy monkier you want to use. The kind of people that would shoot first and ask questions later. I'm sorry, but I fail to understand the writers logic.
Apparently it was so easy to use that they forgot to make the single player campaign longer than most movies. Ba-zing!
I tried really hard to hate the Saint's Row series. I bought the second, returned it and eventually bought it again. This ones seems to be the best of the series and it looks like they've fixed some of the things that drove me mad with the second one so I might actually pick this up. In the very least, it will whet my appetite until GTA:V releases.
I'm picking up Zelda in the next few days, so I'll have an opinion on that soon. At this point though, even though there's some craptastic graphics here and there on Skyrim and the first person fighting has pissed me off more than a few times... it's the overall achievement of immersion that has sealed it as my favorite game this year. I don't even think about snipers when I'm playing BF3. I get killed every once in a great while, but you just flank then and get a nice mini cinematic knife kill or spot them and let a team mate get the kill. In COD I have to worry about quick scoping pre teens thinking their God's gift to videogames. I just prefer the BF, but I still picked up MW3 today so I could play with friends that don't play the other.
Nothing beats waking up three hours before you have to go to work to enjoy the Battlefield 3 beta, only to discover the PS store is down for maintenance. Are you ******* kidding me Sony!? Whoever timed this needs to be tied to the back of my M3 so I can drag them down I70 doing 155.

it is a very nice looking game engine and I'm sure in the right developers hands with the right hardware it will be amazing. Don't forget Kojima was the first to truly push the PS3 with MGS4 and it still holds up pretty good even today. And wow, so you have a nice gaming rig. Who cares? I can see why they took out one hit body kills, but realistically, if you get hit with a .50 bullet in the chest... you're dead. I mean, most all sniper rifle shots to the chest are going to kill you in one shot really. But if it stops the quick-scoping I'm game though.
So the XBOX is easier to develop for... and yet we haven't seen any games that rival the PS3 exclusives. Yeah, makes a lot of sense. Keep preaching to the choir John, I'm sure all the XBOX fanboys appreciate it at least. I just want to play Rage already!

Maybe my TV and PS3 are just superior to everyone elses because the input lag on mine is no where near as bad as that video. It not as twitchy as CoD: BO, but it's very comparable to BFBC2 in my opinion.
