The other day I was driving to Sandy Shores as Trevor, I was honking at the guy in front of me, cutting him off and giving him the finger. Eventually he rammed me, stopped the car and we got into a fight. Little moments like that make it an amazing game to me.
I'm still not a huge fan of the driving in GTAV, its a little arcadey while everything else is striving to be hyper realistic to me. However, everything else they brought from previous R* games and integrated works amazingly IMO. Huge fan of the shooting mechanics, random encounters, etc. Now if I could only join on online match... :(
The money they made with the PS3 and 360 launch seemed to point to releasing now to be smarter business move. For all we know we might get some kind of upgrade package like BF4. I would love to see it and would personally buy GTAV on next gen even if I had to purchase it full retail again. The additions and superior graphics would be worth it. I'm sure many PC gamers purchased it on their system of choice and wouldn't bat an eyelash to buy it again when it gets released down the road ...
Technically yes because Red Dead Revolver was the first in the series. A new one on next gen gets me kinda giddy.
I'm also ready for a RDR2. That's one of my favorite games this gen. Wild west games have always held a soft spot in my heart and Rockstar pulled it off with aces in Red Dead Redemption.
HebrewHammer, I just watched that movie on Netflix. Pretty fucking hilarious.
EDIT: @ RussellGorall If people want to spend $20 to get 1.5 million in game, or whatever it is, let them. You can just jack their customized ride and their money if they're stupid enough not to deposit it in their bank account. Stop being a negative Nancy.
When I'm feeling homocidal with Trevor I block off an intersection and pour gas all around it and make a little trail off to the side. Needless to say, fireworks ensue. The little details make this game amazing.
So far I've found Trevor on the top on a mountain in a dirty sundress, in his underwear around five or six dead lost bikers, fighting a bodybuilder and in a dumpster... all drunk. So far Trevor is my favorite :)
If you look at most 10/10 reviews, they don't say it's perfect. Even IGN has stated a 10 isn't perfect, they put down masterpiece. Which I believe it is, far from perfect, but as close as we'll get with this generations limitations. Even if you don't like the game you have to admit its as close as they'll get to perfection. If you didn't think it deserved a 10 I can respect that, its your opinion, but then you at least have to respect some people do believe its a t...
That's a little harsh for a bug that's not even game breaking, its more of a minor inconvience. A lot of games have shipped with bugs, huge bugs, but have still been great. It cost me like 60k in game to mod another Banshee, all received after about an hour of so of liquor store robberies. It's really no big deal...
I lost a Banshee I had completely tricked out somewhere in the first few hours, but nothing else has disappeared on me yet. The one gripe I have with driving is that it seems cop cars catch me way too fast on the open road... With a Infernus with 100k in upgrades, there's no fucking way a police cruiser should be catching up and bumping me off the road. That and I tried driving all realistic and little piece of shit cars were beating me off the line... Cmon Rockstar, give us speed, not th...
Haven't had this issue happen to me yet. The character cars usually always spawn at their houses and if you have cars in the garage, as long as they don't disappear from within the garage you should be able to find them in the Police impound. It hold two for each character.
I bought the collectors edition to support R*... And I couldn't resist the extra swag. Plus a garage to store my customized rides.
I'm not as strong, I've seen most of the articles and videos. It hasn't ruined anything for me, just made me more excited really. 27 hr's 14 mins lol
Turn that shit down Superman, I felt it from Colorado Springs.
I work open to close tomorrow, after work ( around 9pm ) I'll be tossing on a long sleeve undershirt, another shirt, rain jacket and sitting in from of my local GameStop til midnight. Going to grab the game, go home, get fucking blown out of my mind and play the game straight until I have to work again noon Wednesday. Judge not!
Lmao all coming from a person who's name is "unprotected".
Somebody asked me what day it was today... I replied, "Four days until GTAV."
I have a feeling graphics, draw distance, resolution, physics and small other things will be tweaked making for a more enjoyable game overall. However, I'm not sure if it would warrant another $60 purchase. I may just wait and get it on PS4. I like the AC series, and I'm really excited about Black Flag but its not a midnight release must have like GTAV was.
