I cannot wait! Mechs that turn into airplanes which can possibly fly into space, GTFO here!! No brainer for me, day one. That and me loving the current Warhawk on PS3 helps.
@Redgehammer
Pulling some lines from Princess Bride? Very niiiice.
Colorado is up and with that I wish the rest of you godspeed!
@Yi-Long. If Sony fucked up with the security then why'd it take this long to crack? You act as if it's justified to release the keys to their system and in turn for people to rip games developers have spent millions on. I'm not saying I haven't downloaded music or rooted my Android, but I draw the line at stealing multi-million dollar software. I know how fragile the gaming industry can be an refuse to jeopardize Sony or any other company just to save $60 here or there. Not t...
Note to other developers:
This is how you port a game ffs. However, it is using the ME3 engine if I remember reading correctly in another article. Nevertheless, even if it was using the original engine they still would have made a kick ass port. It's called taking you time, polish and coding appropriately for the PS3. /rant
I'm not an expert in an sense of the word, but I thought the human eye can only register 60fps. So wouldn't a higher refresh rate be a waste since your eyes couldn't process the information anyway? However after typing this, I will admit that playing BFBC2 on my new 120Hz TV was significantly sharper with less motion blur than my old 60Hz one. Would 240Hz make THAT much of a difference? Kinda tempted to see if I can sucker a friend into buying one so I can see for myself. :D
The aforementioned word, "dookie", was, is, and forever will be considered a word that induces lighthearted chuckles from the few that actually have a working sense of humor. It's the eleventh commandment.
That is all.
You've basically jutified my reasons for not buying Black Ops with that little "anti-noob" rant there. I'm guessing you still yell the words "BOOM HEADSHOT!" and/or "owned!" as you froth at the mouth into your headset. Good stuff.
Anywho, my love for the Call of Duty series started on the PC with the original. This is where I played competitively with a few clans on tournament ladders. Fast forward to modern warfare and I fell in love aga...
In my opinion, Mark Wahlberg is a good actor. He's had a few bad movies, but overall he's a good actor. With that said though, it'd rather have Nathan Fillion.
Well at least you put most popular. But, that doesn't translate into the best by a long shot.
Believe me, I get the same blank look when I tell people I haven't really played a CoD game since Modern Warfare. A little MW2, but didn't even want to get to the prestiges. It's just not my kind of game. As I always say, BFBC2 is more my thing. Slower paced, more tactical, less glitches and hacks, and you can blow a hole in a building if someone is camping there.
If this ever happened, I would say that desperate times called for desperate measures at that point. Gamers would need to rise up, storm Activision, nail Bobby Kotick to a cross and drag him through the streets so all developers and CEO's of these companies could see what happens when you **** with your lifeblood. Us gamers. /s
But no really. I'd at least $h!t in his cornflakes.
Trying not to feed into the "conspiracy theory", but Microsoft themselves said that the best CoD experience is on XBOX 360. And then we get two sh!t a$$ ports on the PC and PS3. Makes you wonder a little bit. Just saying ;)
EA or Sony. I think EA would be the right choice in this scenario, but my inner Sony fanboy wants to see a GTA game that maxes out the PS3 like many have said above me.
And this is why I gave MW2 to my next door neighbor as a Christmas gift and only play BF:BC2 these days.
I'll trade you that laptop for... a ham and cheese sammich ( with mustard and mayo of course ), a key from which I know not whence it came, a Starbucks vanilla coffee annnnnnd the deal sealer, my belly button lint ball. How's that sound?
I knew it would topple the 360 this gen, just like it will next gen and the next... however, what I did not expect was for the Wii to slap everyones face and zoom into the sunset in a mario kart with a blue shell waiting just in case someone tried to pull some shenanigans.
So we're passing opinions as facts now? Oh wait, I forgot I was on N4G... here, let me help you:
the 360, in my opinion ( because that's all my parents can afford ) is the superior console and the sales gap; based on MY opinion, should be widening. The ps3 suppose to have pasr the 360 last year, based on some logic I just pulled out of my @$$, and we're still waiting. But obviously, my opinion, like these articles and stoeirs are rubbish.
Two of my close friends went through two 360's each. I myself went through one PS3 ( which I fixed, but bought a slim anyway because I'm cool like that ) so while that doesn't prove anything, I can say it's almost the same with whoever I talk to. There's the occasional PS3 fail here or there, but the number of overall 360 fails is horrendous. Working in a mall and being literally right next to a Gamestop I can safely say that after quite a few midnight launches and talking...
@teraclusterx So it's a waste of time for me to put 40+ hrs into a single player campaign, or 100+ hours into a really good RPG... but apparently it's a waste of time and causes the world to go into decline if I put that same amount of time into my online gaming? You're stupid.
