You said it too. I have gone back to some of my 360 and PS3 backlog after playing the Wii U and I gotta say I really wish you could play on the gamepad. It is the most comfortable controller I have ever played with, which may be because of my huge hands. I am glad they went with it even though most people on this site bash it every chance they get. I hope to see some more creative uses for it.
There is no such thing as a must own for gamers. You play what you like and that's what makes you a gamer. That being said I am excited for the PS4

Gaming media is garbage and honestly it would do everyone a favor if Sony and Microsoft switched to a direct information system like Nintendo. Nintendo needs to improve (or at least it would be beneficial if they did) third party support, and improve in general with how the do business because that is the real weakness they have. Otherwise their drive to be different needs to stay.

Normally I would agree with you here, but given the Wii U's current position, anything that takes away from development time is bad news. They need the games out as soon as possible.

If you watch the whole video some pretty good points are made about how the games would not having the same quality if Nintendo did go third party due to the pride of Nintendo as a Japanese company which is very true.
