lmao. Comparing L4D to something like MLB The Show which is a Sony IP and canNOT be played on RIVAL hardware like a PC or MAC, is just desperate. A PC or MAC is not the same thing as a 360 console for 1 big reason, MS doesn't own MAC. There's no crossplay/saves/trophies. The Vita meanwhile is an extension of that same Playstation experience with the same crossplay/saves/trophies, just a portable less powerful one.

Kinect games? Move has its own Move exclusives too y'know including Start the Party, EyePet, Medievel Moves, Heroes, The Shoot, TV Superstars, Time Splitters, Sorcery and the 3 million selling Sports Champions. Reason no one ever uses them to pad numbers is cuz they don't have to.

MGS4's ending succeeds in every way that ME3's failed. Closure. For everybody. What a concept. Wrapped up 20 years of games. ME3 couldn't even properly wrap up its final act.

MAG is technically f2p as well from there only with a level cap. You can keep playing forever though. Every map, every mode, it stat tracks. I got the expansions free from PS Plus as well. I have it on my XMB right now.

Planet desperate would be more like, a debut console only selling 20 million and the followup being outsold for years on the market by TWO consoles that launched a year later. A year lead erased, yet spun to omnipotence on the strength of casual shovelware.
360 started stronger with quality exclusive software, PS3 started weak.

A lot of work ahead of them? Wtf? The Last of Us, Beyond -Two Souls-, Unfinished Swan, The Last Guardian, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Agent, Ni No Kuni are all exclusives in production that haven't even come out yet.
6/7 of those are new IPs and the other hasn't had a new game in 7 years. For the end of a generation, that's actually pretty impressive imo. Multiplats lag behind, but there's still stuff like Sleeping Dogs.
