A guy who worked in Quality Assurance, an entry level job *facepalm* 3 years ago?! You're freaking interviewing an unemployed TESTER?! GTFO with this!
Look at this quote "I've heard Sony has greatly improved their tools support for development and testing, though I believe..."no let me stop you there. You admit you don't know, that you've heard, yet you go against even what you've heard just to say "I believe the opposite". LMAO....
This, I am right now on my EU alt. 1173MB. Problem solved.
@idleloolaaleesieulungadung
Uhhhh pretty sure I'm downloading it from PSN right now, lol
Fantastic ports, especially for PSP-->console. Games are quality too. Score is s#%*.
"Kratos is also not as agile as he was in the PS2 games"
BS. Kratos even has a default running tackle in GhostofSparta that breaks blocks. You can run anywhere. Way more agile than GOW1.
"You can complete both the games in under 12 hours, which is a lot less playtime than the original God of War Collection."
More BS. GO...
Dear lord, some people are so gullible when it comes to teh internetz. No name site, no name writer, no name source, alleged "reason" is so laughable amateur I'm sure even Jack Tretton is laughing somewhere over the idea of one 3rd party dev holding the whole feature hostage for nothing more than sales discounts for games I may not even want. lol! I already pay for PS Plus. GTFO with this eastern european basement blog rumor cr@p getting front page here. End of the month, guy pr...
Never thought I'd see Halo brought up in a Splinter Cell review, but I've never heard of this guy before either. Either way, that's what happens when you hire fanboys that use games that haven't even been released yet (Anniversary) as benchmarks. Funny cuz Halo has never had graphics that have aged well either, and yet he disses Splinter Cell for that.
Videogames have been the same price for 25 years. Ask your dad.
"We know that games can cost a hundred million to make but so do Hollywood movies and they tend to be available for a quarter of the price of games."
You watch a movie once for 2 hours in a theatre, essentially renting one viewing for $10-$15. You don't take it home with you lol. And when you do, BluRays are far more expensive than 1/4 the cost of a game. Thor 3D/BluRay/DVD/Digital ...
Actually for the dozen or so games I've seen in 3D, it's pretty darm good! The E3 Uncharted 3 trailer looks better in 3D than 2D. You see all the tables, chairs, kiosks and water suddenly pop out with depth that brings the environment to life in a way that painted-on 2D simply cannot.
What's the backstory on the Mona Lisa? Who's she looking at? What was she thinking? Where did she work? Is that a UFO in the background?" *head asplodes*
lol, it's bitching like this that gave us half-arsed answers to questions no one reasonable asked, like midi-chlorians in Star Wars. Leave it to fanfic. This Romanus guy and his 50 paragraphs too many need a girlfriend. Too much time on his hands pseudo intellectualizing about something he's too dumb to ...
Stay in school kids, or you could end up writing for no-name garbage websites like this.
Garbage article, again near the end Luke just can't shake the notion that GT5 isn't taking shots or going to fanboy war with Forza even though its been out for a year already. Typical sensationalist journalist that wants another BF vs COD war to write about instead of maybe doing some grunt work himself and doing some interviews to find the very answers to the questions he's seeking. That's HIS job.
Not every dev' has to go to war with other devs. Further...
I know, right? They're reviewing RE4 as RE4 rather than a cheapo upscaled "HD" RE4 with no new additions. No 3D, Move support, right stick aiming or proper trophies. Ya RE4 is great, but so is RE:CV. These HD ports however aren't up to the $39.99 standards set by GOW, Sly and soon Ico&shadow.
Agree with SH2, MGS and BioShock. Even the BS2:Minerva's Den DLC told a good yarn.
Um, 4 out of the 5 listed are multiplat. Jump in.
This. Heck, look at Dead Island, same thing. But that and Fallout are multiplat, so the haters are more forgiving for games they can actually play. You'd have to own a PS3 to play Resistance. Wake me up when Dice fix the broken BF:BC2 courtesy of the Vietnam DLC, cuz I just loooove booting up and reverting to lvl 1 with default weapons. /s
True, it's by SOE. Looks darn fun, especially for a download on the PSN side. For $20, betcha it'll have a platinum too.
Good. 'bout time a game franchise grew some gonads and wasn't just about selling slurpee cups and having a Lego license.
It won't work on his 360.
I think you just demonstrated one of the reasons. The overzealous almost David Koresh like fanbase that think it invented gaming. You literally make up statistics. No Halo game has sold 10 million since the now poorly aged Halo 3. Halo Wars barely did 2 million. Why do you guys defend it to such extremes?
@mendicant
Oh FFS stick a tampon in it and stop whining. If it sucks so bad here in "one sided, jaded, dishonest in denial and full of crap Sony fanboy" land as you so eloquently put it, why are u still here? You're part of the problem. I too don't "have the will" to explain it to you.
Doesn't matter. Metro has no vehicles, textures are meh, the underground corridors and offices/locker rooms are just bathed-in-blue blandness, it screen tears like a mofo, and Rush mode kills the sandbox aspect turning it into a linear camper-fest around the M-Coms. BFBC2 beta > than this.
