Keep talking Phil. You're only digging the Stadia's grave that much deeper.

I’m disappointed. There needs to be a list of Atari 2600 games we should avoid, or better yet, Magnavox Odyssey games we should avoid. I mean, that’s what people are predominately playing these days, right? Oh, and it had better be one of those articles with one item per page. I love the tedium of scrolling through those. I’ll be extra disappointed if someone at Gamingbolt doesn’t write it.

Wow, I think I managed a post where a simple /s doesn’t cut it.

No, it doesn’t. Stop taking money from companies trying to force game streaming on us.

Next there will be articles praising it for having face buttons.

Um...sure. It has shoulder buttons. And?

Or, y’know, you could just roll out the Switch’s VC. It’s about time considering your previous two consoles and previous handheld launched with it.

Cool. I plan on buying none of them. I don’t even plan on buying a Stadia.

Raw performance wasn't the game-changer this time, or else the X would have outsold the Pro. Performance is great, but you need games to take advantage of it or it's a moot point. For MS's sake their studio acquisitions had best pay off or they're in for a repeat of this gen.

Choice like being able to lend my games to friends or borrow from them, being able to access and enjoy any singleplayer or local multiplayer content decades later if I so please or during wifi outages or server maintenance, and not having to pay to enjoy any of it after my initial purchase? Yes, sign me up please.

I sure as heck won't be supporting that future. I like my games to be mine, and not being behind a paywall other than the price of admission.

Apparently Gold Edge cards can expire. Who knew? I guess I don't shop at EB Games (the Canadian subsidiary of Gamestop) enough anymore. All downgrading me to a Red Card did was encourage me to shop on Amazon more often.

If you want to go with a church analogy, in my experience churches are better when they're not big chains. I certainly don't regret switching from Catholic (the ultimate church chain) to a local Foursquare Church (which has an organization bu...

I'm not really a fan of the current trend of releasing games in installments. I mean, sure, it could mean games can come out quicker, but they'd better not be priced at $59.99USD or $79.99CAD. I don't buy games in installments. Give them to me all at once or not at all. If this becomes the new norm, I'll wait for complete editions for the games I really want, and just pass entirely on the ones I'm more meh about. At least GTA is higher on my list of IPs (though not ne...

I'm actually one to enjoy what I have now first and foremost and dreaming of the next gen is just something fun to do. I've never personally given much thought about how upcoming systems compare to high-end PCs, but if that floats your boat, go right ahead. When the time comes I'll certainly pre-order a PS5 since I've never been let down by a PlayStation and can gradually pay that off over time prior to its release, and then slowly migrate over to that from my PS4 as more ga...

Awesome! Soon we will have to have a tribute to the best loading screens of videogames past as a sort of sendoff, but they're not exactly something we need and they do delay getting to the part where we can actually play our games.

Even if they do, I don't care. I never bought Anthem because I knew it was going to be disappointing. Call me old fashioned, but I don't invest in games in the hopes that one day they will be worth owning. I invest in games because I think they're worth owning, and the ones that aren't, I don't buy. Things never used to be this way, but just because modern infrastructure allows for games to be updated post-launch, doesn't mean you shouldn't finish your game bef...

Eh...I guess they are for Nintendo fans. I've been spending more time on my PS4 lately though.

Strength actually isn't the main issue. Well, ok, that is a major issue, but it's not the only issue. The momentum of the blade would make it impossible for Cloud to even stay rooted to the ground after swinging it as he would be carried forward with its swing. In order for an individual to swing a sword like that and remain standing, he or she would have to be inordinately heavy. In other words, a sword like that would be perfect for a giant troll or something of the sort, but no...

Why?

I guess I’m lucky. I never believed in it to begin with.

Your first reason wouldn’t have deterred fans of the original PlayStation, but your second and third reasons combined with a lack of emulation options certainly rained on everyone’s parade. I confess I have only used the thing a couple times since I bought it.
