I think it's pretty obvious what hacking the PS3 will mean for us non-hackers. Examples:
- OtherOS taken away by the fact that hackers were trying to hack the PS3. I don't care how you swing it, PS3 was being hacked through OtherOS, Sony has the right to remove it, then troubling those who used it FOR Linux and not hacking purposes.
-Trophy rewards. Sony DEFINITELY won't ever put a price on Trophies now since the PS3 is hacked, it means many peopl...
Why not release a patch and have the DLC "unlock" it. Didn't they do this already? That way it'd be visible to all no matter what.
Stupid excuse from Capcom.
Not to mention ALL of these costumes should have been in the game from the start. If they added game changing pieces of DLC, then they can charge for it. These minor surface changes should be free.
Now I'm gonna go and say it.
That spin he did? Yeah, it killed the intensity in the video and made him look like a prancing ballet instructor. So no, don't do that. It ruins the epicness your video is trying to portray.
Since the dancing ruined the ground based combat, I'm gonna have to say the best thing about that video was the Heli used as a giant piece of TNT.
@clockback
I'm in the same shoes as you. Although my brother did rent Revolver on PS2 when it came out, the only things they have in common is they're Western Shooters, the title and they both have Dead Eye.
I saw Red Dead Redemption as a completely different series since the play style changed so radically. So for most, it is completely understandable that one thought Red Dead Redemption was the first Red Dead.
WHAT THE EFF.
I was expecting a Christmas themed DLC for the currently released Red Dead where all the land is covered with snow, Yeti's (Snow-sasq's) are roaming around, and the land is full of Reindeer, only for the final standoff to be with Santa Claus where you can continue to steal his sleigh and fly off into the night.
Since this didn't happen this year, I'm expecting big things for the next Red Dead title. You'll give me Zombies but...
Kratos is drawn off Spartans, and to most people Spartans have been well-built, toned and ruthless. Not to mention I don't think people covered up too much back then.
Chris Redfield was a fantastic "male equivalent". Kratos? Not so much.
This collection hurts. It's 3 games for $39.99. It may be 3 old games slightly upgraded, but these are some of the BEST Splinter Cell games to date (most notably, Chaos Theory). So throwing down 40 bucks on this would be a fantastic deal.
See, I know lots of people complain about no PS2-BC, but I'd much rather have these upgrades than be able to play the terribly-upscaled PS2 games on PS3. Not to mention your friends will actually know what you're playing now, and...
Ha! They can say "last year" now even though it was only like a couple weeks ago. That's so cool.
On another note, I think I'll wait for the PSPhone if there actually is one. Then they'll most likely implement the PSN in that object almost like the Windows 7 Phones and XboxLive. Since Sony did say they wanted to connect all their platforms.
Wow, they definitely took some major notes from Uncharted. Officially re-interested in Tomb Raider. Hello realism, bye-bye unnecessarily large breasts.
I know they say looks don't make a game, but honestly, the way the game looks is what grabs my attention. If it looks like shit compared to the games that I love now, it'll be hard to grab my attention. Even though I did try the most recent console Tomb Raider game, it looked terrible and although Lara Croft did look ...
360/Wii hacked incentive = Free Games
PS3 hacked incentive = Fanboy takedown of Sony Corp./Free Games
Sad truth is sad.
Wow, there are events for these horrid people? I've never seen a time where hacking has ever been good. Especially when their purpose is to destroy the gaming industry from the inside. They create hacks that ruin online games, find exploits that don't hack games but give people weird advantages, and then finally, they go and break the agreement with the console/game developer to allow free games for everyone.
Sure, you can sit there and say you want to "run your ...
How can you do a comparison with such terrible captures? How about getting some full HD Images to compare then try again. I was more understanding when I read his warning, but NONE of them are good.
And I just played Uncharted 2 recently, and it looks much better than the musty pictures that he shows.
The Killzone 3 comparison was much better than this one.
Weird. My friend and I played a couple PC Games (Counter-Strike, Gunbound, etc) online together for pretty much 3 or so days straight, and both of us are actually pretty damn healthy. Not to mention pulling "All-night" game sessions were pretty common for me and my group of friends with Call of Duty 4 on Xbox360, or Monster Hunter on PS2.
So it wasn't lack of sleep that killed this man.
I'm putting my finger on some sort of disease that hovered it...
The gunplay in Uncharted wasn't spectacular in Uncharted 1, but improved for Uncharted 2 and they also made the gameplay more dynamic. You really think they won't improve the gunplay/gameplay over Uncharted 2 for Uncharted 3?
Given the track record so far, Uncharted 3's gunplay will be better.
Note: This game comes out in November. It's not even 2011 yet. Don't judge (most likely) pre-Alpha footage.
Yes, that's because Uncharted 1-3 share the same theme. You know, just like every other video game "series" in the world.
It's how you use the theme that makes it different. Which is why Uncharted 2 was different from Uncharted 1, and why Uncharted 3 will be different from both Uncharted 1 & 2.
Holy eff this game looks awesome. The only thing I don't like is that I need to wait so long to play it. I think they should have announced it at E3. That way we'd only wait a couple months to play it.
Catherine is the only game I'm looking forward to on that list. Purely because of it's mystique and sluttyness. So yes, that list is a pretty accurate list of the "to be forgotten before they release" games.
But I do agree with that dude above that Catherine will have some sort of success. And I'm not talking Final Fantasy, or even Tales games success. I'm just saying it'll make the devs/publishers happy. Not as happy as they could have... neverm...
It may be both.
We'll just have to wait and see.
Short answer? No.
It's going to be hard to find developers that even come close to the hard work and dedication of Naughty Dog. They optimize the hardware they're working on to give us the best game we can find. Then use their awesome writer to give us the best cinematic story.
It's a nice thing to see in an industry full of repeats (Call of Duty), and ONLY using the newest hardware as a benchmark rather than optimizing and pushing the hardware that is used by everyone (PC Gaming, ...
