Exactly what I was thinking. This is called pre-PSStore post.
Not a Playstation Network Update. I actually was stoked to see if Sony is going to add anything new to the console.
But I guess it's also known as a PS3 Firmware update... fuck.
Very smart way to prevent piracy of GT5, Sony. Apparently it's already up, but trying to play Online is impossible now. Ha. Not to mention the disc probably forces you to update when you put it in.
Sorry, but Uncharted 3 isn't announced yet.
Let him be excited about it. I don't know why everyone on the internet needs to act so... eh.
If you want to go off the idea that because he does this he has "no girlfriend or life", then all of you guys have no life for watching the video or commenting so negatively when you could have traveled away from this page much easier and in less time.
But back to reality, he seemed like a decent enough person and he's excited about solving somethi...
Move wasn't using Wii as market research, you fool.
They've been working on this since the PS2, and only wanted to bring out something that worked properly.
Rather than bring out a Wii Motion Plus version years down the line.
As for Kinect having promise, I'm not so sure. You may think using your body as a control seems more free, but in reality it's more restricted.
Actually, after spending over 500 million on advertising it's sort of a terrible number. Especially when every other commercial on TV or in a mall is a Kinect commercial. Not to mention Microsoft is sponsoring Justin Bieber's tour with Kinect and it was all over Soccer-mom TV Shows.
Didn't Move sell around half a million or so with barely any advertising at all?
Yes, I agree that Kinect is more of the risk, but that means shit all for a gamer. I want to say I'll like Playstation Move better, since it's like a better Wii (much better). But when I honestly think about it, I don't think motion gaming fits with me, period.
I couldn't see myself playing Kinect for more than 15 minute bursts a week, and I could only play the Wii up to 30 minutes max, and I have a history that backs this up since I've had a Wii since la...
I'm trying to figure out why this is so outrageous to hear when the United States military does the exact same thing and has been doing so for a while. What I find more shocking is that this just recently happened for the Canadian Military.
When Dirt does anything more than Rallying, come talk to me.
Wow, I know those are just the standard cars, but that looks really good. Gran Turismo 5's graphics never fail to impress every time I look at pictures or trailers.
The 24th can't come soon enough.
PS3 Games don't sell as well as Halo's or Call of Duty because there are a billion other games PS3 Gamers get to choose from per year. Not to mention if you own all 3, you really need to pick and choose.
So no, sales mean shit all when it comes to how good the game is. It's more or less people missing out on good games because it's not named Halo, Mario or Call of Duty. Or because some gamers are so sickly stubborn they won't play the other console.
Uncharted 3
Do we really need to guess? This is 100% - no, 1000% Uncharted 3. Uncharted 2 was loved by every critic and their dog, so for Uncharted 3 to debut in Hollywood (who also loved Uncharted 2) makes perfect sense.
Fucking can't wait!
I sort of want to go too.
Oh, not to mention they debuted Uncharted 2 on the VGA's, where this time they'll debut it a day AFTER to stir things up.
Don't know why it says "PS3 Fanboys beware" when he says nothing at all against God of War. He just speaks the truth. God of War is a sick game that everyone can play. And I find it perfectly fair that it isn't his type of game.
It's pretty much the same for me, except I loved Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden, but I hated Bayonetta. The gameplay was very technical, yes, but also very easy to pull a "God of War" to make it through the entire game...
Play the game first, THEN try saying Forza in the same sentence.
The only thing there that slightly bothers me is the lack of Cockpit view. Now I'm not sure what they mean by that exactly. Last I checked all cars had it, just the standard cars didn't have even close to as much detail as the premium cars.
Also, it makes plenty of sense with the weather and day/night transitions. It would be ridiculous if a 5-10 minute race had this happen. So the good old 60 minute racers will get variety while doing their endurance race. That makes...
Yes, it's already on the PSN if that's what you're talking about. Not to mention it's free.
I just thought about something. If a gamer with half a brain thought to themselves after reading that article, they'd WANT to pick up GT5. Because it has everything those games offer in one package with more realistic driving.
Which would make it the best driving experience ever made. (Note I didn't put "one of the", because there is no other game on it's level)
Yes, it is an opinion. But it's a poor opinion with no truth whatsoever. This man needs to be educated.
Oh my fucking god. I know most people are over the whole FPS genre now, but this man could honestly breathe new life into the genre.
His constant quest for perfection would probably make one of the most realistic FPS ever conceived. And that would be amazing. I'm sure he could absolutely nail squad-based combat too, making it a terrible idea to storm around all willy-nilly.
OR he should work on an Action/Adventure title along the lines of God of War. Imagine how l...
