It's hard to figure whether or not I want to agree or disagree with you mainly because of your last statement.
So to make things easier for myself:
I agree with the first part you said and disagree with the last 7 "words" you typed. You aren't an asshole, you just want a challenge and this mode is made for gamers like us.
Very smart design decision to make it an unlockable difficulty. Therefore you have a general idea of where everything is. And if I remember correctly, everything you earn carries over to your next save.
I'm gonna have to say this is probably the best idea for a Hardcore mode so far. Death of your player is always taken so lightly, but now you'll actually be scraping every corner for ammo, and you'll ACTUALLY feel like fighting for your life is worth something. Wel...
And you sir, are correct.
I'll be playing this for sure. I'm really liking the direction they're taking Fight Night.
If Kojima Productions is in charge of this, I think it's safe to say the first game will probably use the MGS4 engine. It is Playstation's first Metal Gear Solid game, and arguably the most loved game in the entire series.
And no, I'd never in a million years want to play the Gamecube version unless Kojima changed some of these scenes himself. I hated how much they changed Twin Snakes in comparison to the PSOne version.
Twin Snakes:
Although I do agree that would be the smartest course of action at the moment, I don't think that sets a good impression on how the world should be run. It just means everyone should submit under the idea that someone can ruin you with the click of a button. AKA, power through fear.
I think the PROPER course of action is to create laws that make this kind of shady work illegal. Then if these guys want a job with these companies, they should go to school and ask for a job ...
Remember back when he first hacked the PS3, Sony counter-acted by not allowing those minor hacks to be allowed to connect to the PSN, but the GeoHotz created a way to get passed that? IF he indeed was the one who did that, he had to create a PSN to show, or even learn, how to get passed Sony's blocks.
Therefore, even if the account he DID create wasn't under his name, he still press "X" on Agree to terms of service. No hacker willingly puts their name in the...
I'm going to be really sad if the LittleBigPlanet series doesn't lift off. Honestly, MARIO, the same re-bagged game, can sell tens of millions off purely being Mario. LittleBigPlanet is Platforming being taken in the right direction. It's called Evolution.
So help me god, if Mario still sells tens and tens of millions next generation, and games like LBP flop, that alone tells you where this industry is going. Or I guess I could say "that alone tells you where...
Funny, I wasn't that interested in this game before watching that trailer. But it really depends on how other games hold me before I decide to get hooked on Crysis 2. Not to mention I simply wont be able to afford it this year since there are many other games I've been excited for since the time they were announced.
Brink and Killzone 3 will be more than enough to hold me over on the First Person Shooter side of things. One is fast-paced and has tons of depth, the oth...
I've been asking the same damn question ever since the hacking thing got big. None of this is game news real gamers want to read. Over the last couple weeks I've seen nothing but "Modern Warfare 3 Beta, Uncharted 3 Beta, Other game that isn't released Beta".
These hacks sure are being used to their full potential eh "Homebrewers"?
I'm really wondering why they're showing off the PSP2 on the 27th of January and not at E3, only the biggest gaming event in the world. If this ends up happening, that only means one thing. Sony has something BIGGER than the PSP2 to show off at E3, which would go hand in hand with my "Announce PS4 for 2012" theory. But of course I can see some other details about the PSP2 announced aswell.
So it looks like we'll have to wait and see. Only 3 more days. <...
I'm pretty sure this generation is about the same as every other one for Playstation brand. I'll even go ahead and say Sony will announce their new console at this E3, or next E3 for a Fall/Winter 2012 launch date.
Nintendo has always had sketchy launch dates, and Microsoft is new to the game, so you can't exactly name how they launch their consoles yet. Most of Sony's consoles last about 6 years until the next one, but continue on to actually sell games for a...
I'm going to go and say this again.
Hacking a console is a billion times different from hacking a mobile phone. On a mobile phone, I won't be playing Call of Duty or other games online, and find my server filled with greasy hackers. On a mobile phone, people won't pirate games that cost a company ten's of millions of dollars to create.
Hacking a console hurts millions of other gamers and other big game developers. Hacking a mobile phone does...
This guy really doesn't understand what these HD Remasters are, which gives me reason to believe he's never played any of the available remasters either. They don't change the game, they simply make the graphics clearer, and add trophies.
If they rework the gameplay, I'll think about getting this game. It looked WAY too slow to ever think about picking up. So if this "reconstruction" is as large scale as they make it out to be, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
I'm pretty sure Portal 2 is a Co-op game. So what you said is unnecessary. Who knows, maybe this will bring PS3 and PC gamers together, rather than making them have a cock swinging contest.
The idea of being able to play with my friends from my Steam account on Portal 2 from my PS3 is cool to me, personally.
I'm surprised people are disagreeing with you. It's kind of hard to say a fact isn't true. Either way, I'm still stoked for this idea. Steamworks is a great platform and Sony will benefit from it.
Get me a Steam App on my PS4 from the get-go and I'll be happy.
..Even better, if it's possible on the PS3, do it.
I actually saw the commercial for the show she's in and thought the show looked pretty funny. And that's BEFORE I noticed she was in it. It took me about 2 or so times of watching the "debut" commercial thing to realize it was her. I'm interested to see how she performs.
I need another show to watch to keep me busy between How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory and Flight of the Conchords episodes anyways.
