I'm aware that assumption is a bit much, but Sony's assumption that all us core gamers use Move is just as ridiculous. I like Move and everything, and I enjoy playing with it in the games that it's meant for, or sports games. But don't ever think for a second that invading our comfort zone is a good move.

I think as long as the hacks are just software related and not a hardware hack (as in foreign hardware being added to the PS3's current hardware), it can be patched and will once Sony, or said developer, finds a way. As for in time to save Black Ops? I highly doubt it.
It's really hard to know who to blame on that one. I think if Activision wasn't so anal about getting a new Call of Duty out so often, or holding back features for future Call of Duty games, then MW2 probably could have been more amazing than it already was.
*Also note that MW2 fell to shit 'after' IW fell apart.
So I actually have more hope in Respawn even though they haven't released anything yet, over having any hope for ANY Call of Dut...
We'll see what happens. They may be able to gain me back as a Black Ops gamer if this patch indeed fixes everything wrong with it. But I'll only be around until Killzone 3 comes out, followed by Brink. Those two FPS's should keep me busy until Portal 2 and Half Life 2: Episode 3 come out.

I own two copies of MGS3 (Normal and Subsistence), one beat up copy of MGS2, a disc copy of MGS1 for PSOne and finally a digital copy of MGS1 from the PSOne Classics section on the PSN. And I would GLADLY buy this collection without even a second thought.

Well it really depends on how they leave it when Killzone 3 is said and done. If everything is dealt with and there is some sort of a "finale", then there won't be a Killzone 4.

This is actually false. GG already stated they're recruiting for a new "fantastical FPS". Killzone 3 IS the last Killzone game.
After reading that, it just seems like Bethesda's saying they don't want Interplay stealing ideas, or taking things Bethesda created for their Fallout games. Interplay sold them what was left of Fallout, and only asked to be able to continue work on their MMO. But I think Bethesda is fighting because they never agreed for Interplay to be allowed to take and use Bethesda's ideas/materials created for their games for use in Interplay's MMO.

If there is one First Person Shooter besides Killzone 3 that I am looking forward to, it has to be Brink. I have a feeling it'll pull a Borderlands with me. I played B-Lands non-stop and finished all it's DLC (Platty'd it on my PS3 too). So here's to hoping it'll do more than free-run out my window with a single button press.
At first, I was a little more calm about this, given the quality of the maps and how BIG they are. Especially when some were built for Operations mode (AKA Co-op mode with a twist), all of it seemed so complex, so I didn't want to argue.

I bought it and I do with it like Sony intended me to. I buy their games, buy PSN games, play online with friends, and watch BluRays or PSVideoStore movies. As for Apple, when I did have an iPhone, I used it as it was intended. It did everything I wanted it to do.

But most indie games are as fun as bouncing a ball against a wall for an hour. When they make games that can hold your attention for an hour a day, then call me about this "innovation".

Funny how I said the exact same thing. But I think that is mainly because it has that cool "Counter-Strike" feel to it. It's pretty much a less addictive CS with Iron Sights and Sprint.
And the good part is it only costs me 2 bucks (PS+ gets it for 6 bucks) as I split the cost with my brother and his friend and we all share it. :) Gotta love the PS3 for that.
No one is complaining about options. I'm all open to options too. But I just don't want this "Move is better" thing to get to Sony's head. We don't need a PSWii.
