Stoked for this. Especially if the NGP speaks with the PS3. Then I can just put my save on the Cloud and play it on my NGP when I go on trips. Otherwise it's still useful for those who bring their profile everywhere.
I hope to god they switch it up, or at least give you the option to switch between the new and old. Because I personally think the new "XMB" looks insanely awesome and sleek. Not to mention using Playstation Move on the current XMB is a struggle in it's own. This new XMB would make it point and click, and flick of the wrist to go between "tabs".
Can't wait to hear more.
Holy eff. So we're getting a new Metal Gear game for PSP2? If it's a launch title, you can count me in as a first day purchaser. Then again, I'm pretty much saying the same thing if Uncharted or Killzone are launch titles.
If all three of them are launch titles?
Well, PS3 officially has competition... AFTER I beat Uncharted 3. And I'd never in a million years put the first PSP in front of PS3 game time.
Like one of the users from the PSBlog said "And so it begins".
Thanks hackers, for giving us countless Security updates to install on our PS3 and allowing cheaters to flood our gaming community. You really are "sticking it to the man".
So does anyone know if this happens with every PSN version of Mass Effect 2? Or if these problems are scattered between the disc copy and digital copy? Also, does anyone have any word on whether or not it will be patched?
Because I bought the Digital copy and I honestly don't want to start my game and get 20+ hours in the game only to lose my data.
This is a very, VERY realistic future. And it's only really funny because nobody really believes it. It's just the thing people need, too. Everyone always needs to ask for more when what you really want, or need, in the situation is right in front of you. And because of this gluttony, people will become more restricted.
We simply can't control how much we consume by ourselves. We NEED someone to slap our hand and tell us "no". And this is very valid as H...
I'm really surprised "terrible ports" wasn't on that list. That is one thing PS3 gamers shouldn't have to just "get used to". Game developers should either make equal games across both the consoles, or push each platform in it's own respect.
Doing it that way will better each and every developer and half assing things never makes you better at your job.
The only problems with this demo is that it takes forever to get into games, or even when you get into games it takes forever for it to actually set up and start. That and it only has one map.
Other than those minor inconveniences, the game is quite good. Like I said on another article, this game is taking my Call of Duty spot. It's a fast paced shooter with more to it, and they even have Killstreaks. Except they do it in a much better "more risk, more reward" ...
Lol it's funny because that is the same case with me. This is the first time I've used my 360 in more than a couple months. It's actually difficult getting used to the controller again.
No matter, Crysis 2's Online Demo (Closed Beta? lol) was definitely worth it.
Nobody is thumbing anything. It's whether or not people agree.
But I do agree with you. Console games stopped looking better than PC games back on the PS2.
I never really cared about the graphics to be completely honest. It's like people with Call of Duty; you never care about the graphics, it's only about how many ranks you can climb and how many kills you get, or points you capture. Crysis 2 officially nabbed my Call of Duty spot. That game is quality.
Minus the cloaking melee kids, but we have those in every game so I can't necessarily fault Crysis.
Note: I'm not saying it's the best FPS ...
If only I wasn't so damn tired, I'd dust off my Xbox360 and get this demo now. But I guess I'll wait until tomorrow and I'm stoked for this too since I've been curious about it for a while.
Metal Gear actually originated on Nintendo/Famicom/MSX. But Metal Gear SOLID did originate on Sony's platform where it actually took off and got popular. So it's more or less Konami throwing Nintendo a bone like they did with Twin Snakes and Snakes SSBB appearance.
But I do get your point. They'll need one hell of a line up in order to compete with the 3DS. Not that it matters to me or anything. I mainly came here to comment on the MGS thing. :)
If these "great specs" cost more than 200 dollars it won't matter to me. I wouldn't have said that two years ago, but money is tight and too many games are coming out within 2011-early 2012 to be able to afford it.
Plus I'm planning on buying a 3DTV when I buy Uncharted 3. Which is why I'm pre-ordering it at Best Buy. & of course I'll be using it for other things like Tron Legacy on 3DBluRay, Killzone 3 and such.
I'm not so sure about that. Almost anyone I've talked to thinks she's a fantastic performer. I personally liked Alison Haislip more, and I'm pretty sure she actually wrote both Kevin P and Olivia M's skits, but there is a reason why Kevin and Olivia acted them out. They're good at performing.
It's the same deal as to why Dane Cook performs the jokes that are written for him and adds his own spin on them. And pretty much the same for any other come...
I already watch that. Fantastic show.
I'm quite frustrated with the release date of this game. I'm already throwing down a pre-order for Killzone 3 and Brink, and I just bought Mass Effect 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 last week. Which means I'll be spending around $240 on video games by tomorrow.
I honestly don't want to make it $300, but this game seems so damn tempting. I guess I'll play the demo and judge from that. If the demo isn't enough, I'll rent it when it comes out and see if it...
People disagree with this? He is a gamer talking about a game he was interested in, but could NOT play because of the breakneck difficulty on Easy through Hard.
Every good developer knows that there is a wide variety of gamers out there, and many gamers who don't play many different genres. But what happens when a FPS gamer wants to play this game because it looks cool to him/her? They just aren't allowed because the developers don't cater to all types of gamer? ...
Now this is one game I will read every article about, and I really like the title of this one. I've owned both Ninja Gaiden games in some form (NG on XBox, NGS2 on PS3) and I've enjoyed them a lot, minus a few setbacks (like the story that is as deep as the characters, for example).
So I'm very curious about how and what they plan on changing with/for Ninja Gaiden 3.
The 1st is for the Multiplayer demo, then the single player demo comes out the following week for PS+ Users and the next week after that for regular users.
Then the game comes out. :)
