We'll have to see how this turns out. But if this is that "P2P" online they were talking about, then I'll be looking elsewhere. As it is already, I'll be getting Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 for my FPS fill in late 2011.
But if this next Call of Duty is/seems fun, I wouldn't mind getting it. It'll be a rent-before-buy no matter what tho. They fooled me with the videos/trailers for Black Ops, and that bit me in the ass.
I'm pretty sure they'll be going back to the old mission-based Splinter Cell if that single image has anything to say about it. He's wearing a military suit as opposed to his Jason Bourne outfit.
Looking forward to hearing more at E3. Just hoping it releases across all platforms as I really enjoyed Conviction, I just wish it was also on PS3.
I agree with the article here. But I've been saying this for a while. Sony is giving us everything we need to stay safe, and a bunch of goodies we don't exactly fully deserve.
Meanwhile these hackers are doing what now? Freeing the people from what? Fighting for what greater cause? Destroying what evil giant corporation? The only people that need to be brought to light is this group of people trying to knock joy out of the world.

Fantastic. So how is this helping me play my games?
How about you guys stop having a cock fight between each other, and help Sony find the criminals who ruined the PSN for gamers who want to play online. Chances are someone knows who did it, or knows someone else who does.
MGS Collection, Jak and Daxter Collection and Final Fantasy Collection are all on my wants list. Hopefully we'll hear more at E3.
Um, I'm pretty sure they said you will be getting something in return for you not being able to play. Chances are it'll be a free month of play, or something of the like.
So really, why should you cry about losing money on a subscription you're paying for if you'll most likely be getting a month free?
Instead of everyone panicking and calling names, how about you just ask Sony what they plan on doing about it.

I'm curious of how they're going to sell a game that is involved in a court case. I have no idea how the law works, but for some reason that doesn't sound right. Usually you can't continue selling something that you don't exactly fully own.
No matter, I guess we'll find out soon enough.
The sad part is that this article will fade away while all the fake, lack-of-proof and Sony-hate articles will multiply. Something odd is going on this generation, and it honestly seems like Sony just can't catch a break.
20+ exclusives a year, Free Online Play, tons of creative AAA First Party titles on the PSN or retail, only company pushing new tech and apparently losing Linux breaks that entire deal.
I think we just have less real gamers this generati...
Well it sure won't be missed by me. I'll get around to playing it on Xbox360, like the 2 before it, whenever I decide I have free time away from all the other games I want to play.
As of right now tho, Gears of War 3 isn't too high on my "Wishlist".
This is actually a thing I was thinking about. Not that it really matters to me, but I believe any game with character customization should give you a gender option.
But again, I know a handful of girls who play as guy avatars in games where the gender option is available. It's the same concept of a girl using a more subtle username as opposed to "IAMGIRL69" or something. So I can't see too many people losing sleep over this.
Guys, I HIGHLY doubt they'd get rid of an optional feature to appease the larger groups. I agree that they didn't deal with it too well from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2, but have faith.
It's right there when you start the game where they ask you whether or not you want to auto-level yourself and your team. If someone just wants to play a shooting game, they can do that (although they really need to work on the shooting aspect for it to be a good shooting game)...
I pretty much called my team already; Liara and Ashley.
If better people show up, I'll swap them out where I see fit, but Liara will always be there. At least that'll be how it is for my John Shepard.
As for MY character, I'll probably just see how the game goes and do what I'd do in real life after I finish with Paragon J Shepard.
You can do this with any game.
Take away all the aspect that make Halo great, and all you'll have is an average FPS that lets you shoot aliens (Marathon). Do the same for Gears of War, Uncharted, Borderlands and practically any other amazing game and you'll find yourself with an "average game".
These games rely on all the features and mechanics in order to make them great. Just like 90% of the games released now. I'd take a well crafted ...
Is this ever long overdue. I hope they leave the Vegas scene though. Loved the first Vegas, but not so much for Vegas 2. Take me all over the world again, Rainbow Six.
Yeah, the feds will be watching this one since they just announced it. Bad move, hackers. Now they'll be caught without much effort.
Holy hell, Call of Duty 4 is number 9 on XboxLive's most played, with World at War being number 10. There are 4 Call of Duty games currently on Xbox Live's top 20, ALL within the top 10. That has to be some sort of milestone.
What, will there be 5 Call of Duty games come this fall? I'm surprised each game manages to sell more than the last, yet all of them seem to be played even to this day.
"no one will care by September."
This is very, very true.
Once Sony starts pumping out their exclusives and the year goes on, nobody is going to remember this (as long as nothing happens with the Credit Card thing). Once it comes up better than ever and E3 passes, I can see Sony being perfectly fine again.
This really doesn't mean anything in the long run. PSN will come back up, gamers will continue playing video games on a more secure ...
Wow. Are we supposed to feel bad because they don't get premium dollar for stealing our credit cards? Something must be wrong here if they are expecting any type of sympathy.
I wonder if they'd feel bad for me if I stole their household items and couldn't sell them for top dollar.
As long as you stay off the PSN then I'll, along with millions of other gamers, will be happy. Do whatever it is you want, just make sure you block the loopholes that ruin gaming for real gamers.
Please and thank you.
Microsoft's Windows is pretty much in every single computer out there, which is why it's up so high. Don't even need to bring in their other products.
Although it is pretty sad to see Sony that low as they sell computers, TV's, MP3 players, video game consoles/games, BluRay Players, Music, Movies, etc.
Very good for Nintendo tho as they are purely a video game company. Pretty much the only impressive one out of the big 3, as the reasons for ...
