To be honest, it'd be all nice and good if I could play PS1/2/3 games on PS4, since it'll all be in the same box. But, if Sony can cut the cost of the PS4 by getting rid of that, I'd TOTALLY vouch for that idea. I'd rather pay $349-400 for a PS4 than anything else on account of something silly like B/C.
But you need to wonder what they plan on doing with all the games on the PSStore, or XboxLive, if they don't plan on doing B/C. People have already investe...
I hope you know you need a PS3 and a copy of Portal 2 on PS3 in order to use the code (as far as I know). You can't redeem it through Steam. It's redeemed when you link your PSN and Steam accounts.
They have Modern Warfare and Vegas on there, but no Medal of Honor? That game had one of the best Military FPS single player campaigns (and most legit) that I have played in years. Not to mention I'd love to have more Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan stories in FPS's.
I'm over the seemingly never-ending war between the US and Russia. It's almost starting to get as bad as WW2 games. Plus, they could even get political with the games based on these recent wars. Guess I...
Wow, a fighting game with a story. Now this is new.
Something he didn't mention is that the green aura around Drake in that one scene was him activating his "one-use-medal-bought ability". Basically, you buy "power-ups" of sorts before the game starts (or in the game) with medals you earn, that you can activate in-game, which it seemed the "power-up" Drake used was an RPG.
Also, the "kick off ledge" thing is when you're hanging beside the enemy, you can now boot them off while bo...
If Kojima did that, I'd fall in love all over again. It'd work so well with Metal Gear too.
So yeah, like I said. Fucking epic. Looking forward to getting into that beta. Can't wait for the soon to be released flow of Uncharted 3 information.
5th is probably for NA, and 7th for Europe.
This will easily take the GOTY award. It'll have a near perfect and absolutely immersive single player (if Uncharted 1 and 2 are anything to go by) and given how this looks, a feature packed Multiplayer with tons of choice and full of intense and fun moments. The reason I know this is because Uncharted 2 was their first MP game (that I know of), and it was better than most currently available.
Youtube upload support and Facebook connectivity also helps.
I...
Haven't you seen the code Valve emails you when you register a new computer to your Steam account? I'm pretty sure THAT'S what the code is. It's just telling Valve you bought the game, now you can use that one-time-code in the linking process.
Meaning this code may be completely necessary to link your PSN account to Steam account. And if you don't do that then you'll be playing exclusively on PS3 with no Steamworks support. So it may just be a "li...
Just thought I'd say you need to link your PS3 version to your Steam account in order to play with Steam players. And I'm not sure if this code packed into the game is just to verify you own it on PS3, sort of like how EA puts MP codes in their games, or if it's the full game in code form.
If anyone can confirm this, that'd probably be better.
Bahahahaha. That's too epic. Sony just got free, and very vocal, advertising from people trying to make Sony lose money.
Also, seeing as how people "attacked" Anon, doesn't that kind of tell them they should fuck off? PS3 fans, or just randoms, obviously don't care about what they're fighting for, therefore there is no fight worth fighting.
Releasing new consoles sooner than later is kind of a double edged sword. Developers like DICE, Crytek and Epic already want to move forward so they can use better tech with more meat on it. But that plus comes with a negative.
These developers are so reliant on new, or stronger, hardware that they'll never learn to optimize their games, or get the most out of what's available. It's like winning a race in Gran Turismo 5 using a Ferrari against Mini Cooper's. ...
The PS2 had zero competition back then. The Gamecube had almost no support and the same happened with the Xbox. Plus, Sony's dominance carried over from their strong PSOne following.
This generation is a bit tougher since the new tech was the Xbox360 a year before the PS3 came out, giving everyone a new home and not many people wanted to relocate when the PS3 finally released.
And I also fully believe the PS3 will last 10, or more, years like Sony states....
That's one magazine that is probably very Xbox360 oriented. Because I honestly do not believe anything on the 360 is being played more than anything on the PS3 in Japan. Not to mention a game as "gung-ho America" as Halo: Reach is.
I call BS.
I'm pretty sure this would sell wildly with the Metal Gear fans (and beyond). Not to mention it'd be a perfect chance for them to bundle in MGS4 with trophies and extras.
Making it a TRUE MGS collection (MGS1-4). But to be honest, a MGS4 trophies patch released at the same time as this HD Collection would be pretty cool too.
Just like I thought, we'd either be hearing about the PS4 at this E3, or the next one. I highly doubt this E3 anything more than games will be launched, or talked about, but I can assure you PS4 and Xbox720 will be announced at E3 2012 probably for a late 2012, or early 2013 launch.
As for right now, these 2 consoles will be perfectly fine. They still pump out HD visuals on affordable hardware. I'd rather Sony and Microsoft wait until the hardware is much cheaper so t...
If you look at some of the enemies, they sprint a tad faster than Drake ran (the dudes that grab you in Co-op modes, for example). So having sprint here is going to be fantastic (which I suggested in their forums a long time ago).
I'm glad they looked past the 5 or so mega fanboys to accept a simple and optional feature like this. It's not like someone sprinting is going to have the upper hand running into a huge firefight.
If this is all just BS, th...
I don't get it, the PS3 and Xbox360 are still pumping up their games on the current consoles, and have yet to really hit any limit. They just optimize it more and more as time goes by (exclusives have, at least).
So even if Nintendo has a console that is slightly better than PS3 and Xbox360, it really doesn't mean anything as no developer is going to put that extra effort forward for just one console (besides Nintendo). So by the time Microsoft and Sony release their ...
100? That's a bit much for a very minute detail. Barely anybody knew about, or used, OtherOS so I highly doubt this has any ground. Also, if this man bought a PS3 Video Game Console mainly because of the OtherOS feature, that's his fault.
Should have bought a computer, where you can install Linux or Windows, and have it run infinitely faster. The PS3 is meant for entertainment purposes. IE. Video Games, BluRay movies, music, etc. That point is obvious to anyone and ev...
