If all those other amazing games get advertised a ton for the less-involved casuals, I think Call of Duty may have a tough time fighting this year. Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, and Mass Effect 3 all in the same month? Not to mention Gears 3 and Resistance 3 right before.

On another note: Holy fuck, what's with all the 3's?

But my point still stands. It'd be completely understandable if Modern Warfare 3 (again, another 3) gets lost in the wave of ga...

It's such a simple concept that society doesn't want to act on. If you don't like it, don't support it. Every single person who buys pointless DLC like this is telling the company it's okay to do.

Just stop buying it and everything will get better (of course it won't be that easy, but it's not that hard, either).

I'm not exactly sure what was said there, but I saw mention of a city with the likes of a combined Vancouver and Seattle (which to be honest, they are pretty much alike, Vancouver is just more colorful).

I'm curious to see if this is meant to be inspiration for another world in the game, or if these cities will actually be included.

We can get more out of our current consoles, that is still a fact. But I do see the next generation of Sony/Microsoft consoles being announced at next years E3. Pretty much goes with my original speculation.

I've been saying the same thing for a while now. PS4 will be announced at E3 2012 (along with Microsoft's system. Unless they announce it this year, or wait a year above Sony) and will most likely have a Fall 2012 or early 2013 launch date.

Wow, people really know how to complain. The fact that Sony is giving us PS+ along with that music service for 30 days (I don't care for the music service and I already have PS+, but I'm not complaining), along with another free region specific item, is infinitely more than enough.

For fucks sakes, banks themselves are saying there is no activity from this incident along with Sony claiming that no Credit Card information has been taken. Not only that, but they are wi...

I agree with you in relation to the shock factor, but I'm gonna say they'll be saving that one for E3 2012. Just because Nintendo does it doesn't mean Sony and Microsoft have to. We won't even see games make full use of the new N-console for at least 2 years.

So to be honest, Sony and Microsoft shouldn't be in any hurry.

Also, I'm pretty sure once the new N-console is released in 2012, the hype of the impending announcements of the new...

Well they are kind of leading that charge with 3DTV's, so it only makes sense their console will take the same route. Not to mention being able to advertise PS3, 3D Games and Sony 3DTV's all in one must be a plus.

It's funny because I actually plan on buying a 3DTV in the next month or so even tho I vowed I wouldn't for at least a year or two. I really want to watch Tron: Legacy on it tho, and I'm stoked for using it with Uncharted 3.

Oh damn right. Elise Riggs ftmfw.
That's some prime Canadian-bacon right there.

I need to follow this game a bit more. Loved playing the old SSX games on PS2 and Xbox.

I think what Jihaad is trying to say (don't know why he used such a vulgar comparison) is that you should be getting mad at the people who did this to you.

The hackers are the criminals, and Sony Playstation Brand KNOWS they made a mistake. And as every single person in the world now knows, they're re-building the PSN with more robust security features.

So why continue to blast Sony for the inevitability that they were trying to protect themselves fro...

And you sir, are wrong. There is nothing Sony could really do. There isn't a company on this planet that is safe from these types of attacks. These were just terribly focused and disgruntled hackers.

The government isn't a bunch of fanboys, or twisted hackers. They see that someone stole vital personal information, and they don't want that happening. They know better than to attack Sony when they SHOULD be attacking the person who STOLE the information to begin wi...

Yup, good job GeoHotz followers & hackers. Hurting developers and real gamers all in the name of hurting Sony.

Hackers Goal: Tarnish the Sony name and bring hell upon thee!
Mission Status: Failed.

Funny how they wanted that, but all this says to the real world is that we are in the era of "I OWN EVERYTHING EVEN IF I NEVER BOUGHT IT, AND I'M ENTITLED TO EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF INFORMATION AND HARDWARE EVVEEEEEER".

BBC, being a huge news reporter, and much more reliable than those of the likes of Gamespot and IGN, more people will hate hackers, than...

See, hackers like this guy are the types of hackers I like. The guys who do things that are actually impressive and won't harm anyone.

I've said some rude things about hackers over the passed few months, but only to these types will I say I'm sorry for generalizing.

Those who don't understand their actions do more than just share information are the ones I don't like. Ignorant, stubborn as all hell, and simple minded.

Not to mention the PS3 was absolutely unbreakable until someone STOLE the master key thing. So some crazed hacker went as far as committing theft because they were so unskilled, or untalented that they couldn't hack the PS3.

The only single reason the PS3 was hacked was because they nabbed that code. With or without Linux, the PS3 could not be hacked. With Linux, it probably could have been hacked faster than without. But my point stands.

It is 110% the h...

LOL, then what are they fighting for?

I think what you just typed (which happens to sound very correct) should give every single person in the world a good idea as to why Sony did what they did and why it was the right step to take.

As for the "blind followers" comment; that we aren't. We just know what we want and who gives them to us. We want games, and Sony provides them.

Why is it that hackers always type like they're mentally handicap?

Didn't he already say he wasn't doing ZoE3 until he was done with his current game in development? So that pretty much means whenever this "game" is done, he'll be, for sure, making the next ZoE.

But god only knows what that means since he has a part in Rising, but he's also working on that one taboo-mystery game and ANOTHER MGS-related game.

I'll guess we'll see more at E3 and TGS.

5394d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I certainly hope so. But I hope he does a prequel with Solid Snake. Maybe base it around the time Cyborg Ninja wasn't a Cyborg lol. Seeing how Solid Snake and Gray Fox interacted using a beefed up MGS4 engine sounds like an epic game for me.

It's kind of funny, actually. There are some terribly ignorant comments made just for the sake of being ignorant. For example, Sony further explained that they didn't find out how deep the breach went until last night, or this morning, so that's why we heard so late.

People began to comment saying "It should be an obvious thing that it went that deep, you should have warned us!". Well if it's that damn obvious, why did you need Sony to tell you in th...

Sony's actions were pretty much justified on this whole topic from the very beginning. They were protecting a product they made. That's what companies should do. And the only reason people got furious when Sony swung back is simply that; "because Sony swung back".

It's the same situation with bullying someone or trying to start a fight. If you try to poke fun at someone over and over, and they fight back, you can't run off and cry. You dabble in thi...
