No. Silent Hill was a psychological horror, and it had guns plenty. Same for Fatal Frame, hell, that game has infinite ammo by default. What he means is it's gonna be an action game with some horror elements.
They literally said they were "going back to their roots" and cited "Silent Hill" left and right in this project. They never cited Gravity Rush as an inspiration, you can't really blame people for being disappointed. It's like citing the most delicious burger you ever ate as an inspiration for a ham sandwich. It can still be good, but it's not remotely like your inspiration.
If we had a majority of white dudes you'd be chill?
Isn't she a teen?
I wanted to get into this game, but the overall design looks bland.
You must be pretty fun at parties.
Servers were atrocious, gameplay was buggy as hell, balance was all over the place… but it was fun indeed.
They had an open casting call for most of the characters. Open casting call means they were not limiting the role by skin color or any particular traits other than "male in his late 40's". Pedro was simply better than most "male in his late 40's" that applied for the role.
You can remove your tinfoil hat now.
Kotaku wants that? Fuuuu… I hate having to agree with Kotaku then.
They could've easily fitted the Clock Tower, if nothing else. Jill was trying to evade Nemesis at that point, so the Clock Tower wouldn't be such a bad idea. Make it a small mission to try and ring the bell for rescue, but failing (no need to repeat the chopper) and ending up on the courtyard battle that we already have, and all good.
I don't mind so much the park and the worm being cut for time and pacing, but Nemesis and the Clock Tower... I really felt it. Th...
@Garethvk Probably. And I actually think they are pushing the LoL brand, not exactly LoL itself. Which is a good thing, LoL kinda sucks, but the world and characters are actually kinda cool.
Their sound for Arcane's intro was actually pretty dope. Guessing that's what they are playing there.
She is style over substance. Her whole thing is being Leon's foil and being a "spy" archetype. We never get a clear view on who Ada really is and what she really wants outside of doing her job. Maybe that appeals to some, but even the better spies like Bond and Nikita have clear motivations and personal stories. But hey, Resident Evil is supposed to be dumb fun.
I think it all comes down to two things: characters and story. People that play these kind of games already know that the gameplay will be limited and play out much like an interactive movie or "choose your path" kind of thing. Create an engrossing story with engrossing characters and no one will mind, fail at that and it'll be a chore.
IMO, they backtracked a lot from Until Dawn. They should've taken what really worked on that game and build upon it: char...
Even so, I found her very sarcastic, and her bluntness was actually kinda funny in my playthrough.
Meaningless for what RE2 is. RE3 needs a bit more of leeway because Nemesis is too relentless, this was true in the original as well. RE2 however has a lot of better mechanics over RE3, like the knife being given it's own button rather needing to have it manually equipped, and the dismembering of zombies.
They would've just fired those and buried their careers.
@VersusDMC Ooph. They should, tho. Amy Henning helmed Uncharted 3 solo, and that game's story is a trainwreck. Uncharted 1 and 2 had the help of Bruce and Neil. Also, she was fired because the story of 4 was subpar. Not a very shiny example you gave there.
@Charlieboy333 You can't even handle a fantasy game having different pronouns for different people.
Well, from a gameplay standpoint it makes sense. It's a crash course of all things Uncharted, from 1 to 4. But from a narrative perspective... Lost Legacy is basically Uncharted 5, so... Yep... You shouldn't touch that after playing all the others, too many references and characters that only appear very late on the game series.
