That's why they are buying so much stuff overseas. People are quick to jump on Tencent, but they are a private company trying to survive a communist country with communist politics. If they don't base themselves in places other than China, they would never be as big as they are.
While I get your point and it has room for discussion, I don't think it should be brought up to downplay what's happening in Ukraine. If someone voices their concern for Ukraine, you should go "I know, it's terrible. Did you know the same is happening in the middle-east?", not "But what about the middle-east, huh, why don't you talk about that too?".

At this point there's no winning. They require prior knowledge of the franchise, tho. You show this trailer to anyone, and I mean ANYONE, and they can understand what's going on and relate to the family dynamic almost immediately. No need to know who is Snake, or Fox Hound, or Raiden, or Metal Gear...

I couldn't care less about Lara's boobs or lack of them. The game is just boring, and even the first, which is by far, the superior and most fun one of the bunch, is atrociously written. That campfire scene of Lara and her friend with a strange islander after she witnessed murder and was chased almost to death by another islander was so badly conceived it hurts my brain... Holy molly.
Get a better writter. It's that simple.
Does it have to be a "favorite" character in order to have a game? Unsure what's the deal with this question. My favorite is Spider-Man, but I loved the Batman games, and I'm sure I'll love this one, Suicide Squad and Wolverine's too if they are good games.
Reed Richards is already a ripoff of other characters, but since he is a male ripoff, I guess he gets a pass.
TBF, it seems that China is also demolishing Tencent (and other Chinese gaming companies). I guess being a private company going for major profits is against what the Chinese Communist Party stands for. Who'd know?
