There are a ton of PC ports of console games that are NOT the best versions. A few of them eventually get updates that finally do make them the best version but many don't and remain ports that don't quite live up to their console counterparts.
It used to be that the PC version was the best but that is either changing or in a state of flux right now. Either way, buyer beware. Your $40 on a PC title tends to get you a $40 game nowadays.

Holidays should be interesting. Microsoft's machine really has the greater appeal in the short term but it's going to be tough to slow down Sony's momentum. In the modern age, value is sometimes usurped by "what's hot" and PS4 might be poised to benefit from this where XBox 360 did last gen.
If buyers are smart, though, Sony's 2015 lineup looks far more promising than Microsoft's.
So...that trailer was clearly dubbed in Japanese. I want the English version.
I still say this problem is being magnified by people constantly talking about it. It's a problem but not one that deserves this much attention. You're only feeding the monster. That misconception isn't all that prevalent or common.
It IS true, however, that games are developed for a certain platform then the port receives less attention for other ones. 360 to PS3 saw this a LOT during its early life.
Considering there are 0 reasons why remaking FFVII is a terrible idea, I call BS.

And also disappointed. From what I've played (the beta) Destiny is everything it's cracked up to be and MORE.

Now where's the image with all the non-sports and remasters? Make it 1920x1080 and you'll need a ton of thumbnails collaged together. May not fit in that image size.

And yet I play my PS4 daily, still. Different strokes for different folks. TLOU: Remastered (yes I bought it again for PS4 for the multiplayer and Left Behind, mostly), working through Trine 2 among several other indies, waiting on First Light and PvZ:Garden Warfare, also playing those 2 fantastic indies they release on PS+ every month. I'm very happy with my purchase. Made a lot of friends in Destiny Beta too. :)

Some people don't like it as much as others. Sounds about like everything that has ever existed, doesn't it?
The naysayers are speaking so loudly that it is drowning out the VAST VAST VAST majority of people who had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the beta. Internet nature, I suppose. This game is going to shatter sales records. Well...maybe not SHATTER but certainly exceed them.

The beta was one of the most fun experiences I've had in gaming in recent memory. To each their own, I suppose.
This article is WAY out of context. You're at the beginning of a generation of games. They are NEVER up to par with the previous generation's later offerings.

Err...the powers in SS are much more diverse than in inFamous 2.
Many people disliked the story...I'll grant them that...but the characters were strong if a bit underdeveloped. The same can be said of inFamous 2's characters, though. 2 of THEM had 2 games to develop in.
Idunno man...inFamous 2 is a better game, imo, but I guess I am one of the few who thought that Second Son was right in the same ballpark, even the same dugout. Still a great game if a...
