I loved GuildWars.. back in the the day I would play this countless hours.. I was young and didn’t want to pay for a subscription like WoW.. My friends were stuck playing RuneScape and I thought this was next level content.

I play most my games on console now.. so I kind of wished they could bring GW2 to it. I haven’t played that game in years either.

This is great, does anyone know how long this sale will be? Starting this Friday, but don’t see an end date. It will be nice if they kept until Christmas. $100 off every console, $100 off PSVR, $30 pro controllers, $20 off portals, dualsense controllers.. and more, Not a bad sale.

Did y’all see who it came from? Don’t see this as credible. Almost as bad as quoting Michael Patcher.
But to the point, Sony has made mention that their games released on PC doesn’t canabalize its sell of games on PlayStation. Some games are coming out 2-3 years after console release. Basically a way to capitalize on game that has finished selling on PS5.

Do they have to sell games on PC? No, absolutely not. They done this to try to reach a different audience. They...

A lot of speculation out there. PS6 isn’t going to be a hybrid console of portable and home.
There was a leaked/rumor of two sku’s. One was weaker.
It wasn’t going to be like a Series S/X situation but a home console and a portable one. The portable may have a dock to play at home. It’s nice, but nonetheless it’s not taking over Sony’s gaming strategy.. but still it’s nice.

You mean to say extractions shooters work?
Games like this is what makes them great. Glad to see it get the recognition it deserves

The one man was the former director of Bend Studios. It not being “greenlit” was what I was referring to when they asked if Bend Studios would be interested in making a Syphon Filter game, after they released Days Gone. Don’t understand what was misleading.

Sony was the one telling them to do something different. I don’t blame Bend Studios. It was a lot of pressure pushing live service titles out and it backfired.

DaysGone wasn’t a bad title. It sold pretty well too. It sold 8 million copies on PS4 as of 2021. Almost 2 million on PC as of 2022. I don’t know the remastered version but it sold decent for a game that was already on the PlayStation Catalog.
They should have let them make a sequel. The series was made to b...

Maybe having an Halo Online and just release the Combat Evolve maps. And when Halo 2 releases have those maps release. I don’t know but I would like to play a newer version of Halo multiplayer. I know times have changed, and Fortnite is all younger kids really play. But back then it was Halo and you connecting 6 Xbox’s together lol.

So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..

Like I mentioned before it’s not going to take away jobs. In game development, it could be used for a tool for the tedious task. Game development you need storytelling, acting, and other human creativity. That is not going anywhere. Also the jobs that work making lush environments.
Freeing up time for developers won’t cut but help them be productive in other areas. We know the human element cannot be replaced. They know that as well. I’ve not read anything that suggests the contrary....

Only thing AI should be used for is a tool to help cut down development time. Like creating landscaping, the repetitive work, etc. that could help free up developers to do something else.
I don’t see AI taking over.. but game development has ballooned over the years. A full game use to be made in 1-3 years. Now it’s 4-6 years. Very rare to see one done in 3. That’s the only upside I see with AI.

Sale figures = great multiplayer experience
Got it..
Heard it first from here..

That’s the weakest argument. I played Halo and it was great obviously.
But so many different titles had really good online multiplayer.
Resistance Fall of Man. Was a solid title with fun multiplayer.
Killzone 2 was fun. Movement was slower but solid multiplayer.
Warhawk, probably my favorite. It was something different and had a very activ...

They can make multiplayer hits. They have in the past.
This reason here is where I get frustrated with Sony.
They have great IP’s but they want to invest in companies that were either going to be really great or going to bomb it. And we’ve seen that with Concord, and we’ve seen the success with HD2.
Arrowhead Games is not owned but the IP is so I mentioned that.

I would love to have a remake of SOCOM, WarHawk multiplayer, Resistance FOM, Killzone....

This is also why exclusives are “antiquated”. Always loved the PR talk from Microsoft. Always can spin a pile of poo unto a pot of gold.
Microsoft bit more they can chew just like they’ve done for years and years. Hate to quote ol’ Bob Kotick from Activision. But he even said they shouldn’t be in gaming and they weren’t creative. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m not trying to enter a political debate but this news was recently reported from the FBI. “More than 1,700 child predators and 300 human traffickers taken off the streets, 5,000 innocent children rescued” as of this year.
I do believe there are people in government that do care about our children.

If people listened to the concerns that were being raised was how easy it is to have children exposed to things that they shouldn’t.
A guy made a character an...

Whatever they do I hope it’s innovative to where it’s not just a gimmick. They have made good progress with their controllers. The PS5 Dualsense was one of my favorite interactions this generation when playing games. Also the 3D audio playing games on my headset was very immersive.
They made good with the hardware and new features but my only complaint this gen was the games were so spaced out and we had fewer first party entries compared to other generations.
They want perf...

They go to one extreme to the next. Polar opposite from the way they address this generation. But we know they aren’t making these consoles at a loss. But just to say they have one they’ll have a in house or 3rd party PC with an X logo.

At this point what’s the point of having a console if your games are multi-platform and your console is basically a PC. When gamers can just spend on their own PC or just upgrade the hardware and save money.

Expecting $100...

I like games like this, I’m kind of tired of the same old tdm and people camping the same area where you respond. Currently my problem with BF6 tdm.. I do enjoy playing conquest or rush though with some friends.
But mission based extraction shooters are more my cup of tea.
It’s more team oriented and no respawning.

I haven’t played the demo but watched some people stream it and it looks great. I’m not much into Battle Royals either. I like slower paced but th...

I got the Pulse Explore Earbuds because I can answer calls while I play. But they aren’t very comfortable at times. I may need look into an over the ear set.
