I understand people’s concerns about it not being fps. But I don’t mind it being third person. A lot of the games I play are third person, mostly open world games. So that being said it looks like thats the direction they are going with this. So I can understand it being third person. I did like the trailer and I’ll definitely try it out.

Me too.. even the cgi trailer they released last year up until we seen it was a hero based shooter. I was hoping it to be like a guardian of the galaxy style game with multiplayer.

But here’s to Intergalactic.

I was happy to see this one. Brought back a lot of memories with my friends playing this game on PS2. Kudos to Capcom. I hope it turns out well.

Best part of the night for me other than AstroBot getting incredible recognition and Game of the Year.
I had a feeling they would show us something soon, it was long overdue for me.

I heard there were rumors of a Days Gone remaster coming. Maybe that will open the door for a sequel after that cliffhanger ending they had. The game was gonna be a trilogy but obviously we seen where that went.

Third person shooter.. two games come to mind Syphon Filter and Socom. Not saying it’s either. But boy would it be a joy to see a proper Socom game come back. I wish they never closed Zipper. I guess we’ll see next year hopefully at a PlayStation showcase or someth...

I think they wanted Sony to buy them anyways. Remain Japanese owned and operated. I mean you even had Microsoft trying to get their hands in the pie. Tencent subsidiary company has16 percent and Sony 14 percent.
I think it’s just a matter of weeks to be confirmed. It’ll be a good pickup for Sony. From gaming and non gaming.

What ever happened to Jade Ramond’s dev team with their game, Fairgames. I haven’t heard from it in a long time. I’m wondering if Concord’s massive flop had them rethink some things.
Other than that, it looks good with their single player line up. I hope to hear what’s coming from Naughty Dog..at least a title and date or some type of trailer. That, and if Wolverine might get a late 2025 release or if it’ll be early 2026.

I’m glad to see Machine Games make a hit title with Indiana Jones.
Ghost of Tsushima was an original title though. Not taking away from them, but everyone knows Indiana Jones. Glad to see it get the credit it deserves though. I know they’re comparing it to its success but still it’s not the same.

Obviously I know that. But it’s a 3rd party studio. Sony owns the IP and it’s the publisher. The devs mentioned in the past they would be willing to make a port.
All I was saying was something like that doesn’t really impact PlayStation losing anything.

Helldivers 2 would be a good start. Certain games I understand, mostly their single player games. But multiplayer games like that it doesn’t hurt no one by making it more accessible. It’s a third party anyways.

Is it a crime for wanting another one?.. I’ll be honest, DMZ was really fun, fighting off platoons at the final exfil was a blast.. I just wished they would’ve invested into renewing it instead of doing away with it. I honestly haven’t had that much fun in a long time. I made a lot of friends playing it and they all say the same. I don’t really like Warzone as much.

So what is there left on console that is anything remotely similar to that? PC has Delta Force which looks ...

I hate to see this. I mean it was a decent game but I wish there was more to choose from. I know Ubisoft to me hasn’t been the same since the ps2/xbox-ps3/360 era. Ghost Recon was prettier fun along with Splinter Cell and obviously Rainbow Six.

I have a love hate relationship with Call of Duty. I wish there were more games pushing realism instead of what Call of Duty has become. Again I love the movement and have lots of friends who play it, so it’s always going to be compe...

Tencent did this in the past with League of Legends and now own all of Riot Games. It’s crazy to me that they are a 35% shareholder of Epic and got big chunks of other big companies.

I’d like to see a lot less of this copying and pasting and a lot more original content. Just because people do it doesn’t make it right.
The article stated that the multiplayer Horizon game was rumored to be similar to what was being shown in the multiplayer aspect.

Reclaiming is not it. Finding a way to find their footing in it is. They had a lot of good support on the PSP.
But now it’s a lot different. If they do have a handheld will it have their own game catalog? That’s the only thing I can think of that would make it appealing. Nintendo revolutionized portable gaming with the switch in my opinion, and the Steam Deck is on the other end of the spectrum.
So coming back to the handheld business they need something to set them apart ...

Congrats on a job well done. Since the beginning at PlayStation until now, he felt confident with PlayStation with the people at the wheel guiding it. It’s not a bad thing to pass on the mantle and do his own thing. He earned it. Look forward to see his next endeavor. He mentioned he wanted to stay within the game industry. So we’ll see what next.

The thing I like that Sony tries to do is make new ways for gamers to immerse. From PS5 to VR to the Portal.

What I did enjoy about the original PSP was that it had its own game library. I know that’s may not be the case this time around but I hope they offered something unique over the Portal other than playing ps5 games without streaming.

People’s opinions on price. I’m sure it would be competitive to the market. But it’s all speculation at this poin...

I would love to play a modern killzone game. Some titles I don’t mind them remaking and there is a ton of people who haven’t played it. If they had a team to do a proper remake it would be great.
I mean I got a lot of favorites from the PS2-PS3 era that I would like to be remade with proper sequels.

Since we are here. Warhawk on PS3 was one of the best titles that came to PlayStation. I know kids are into Fortnite and that has kind of taken the arcade shooter type ...

Let’s pretend that Microsoft has not done anything like this. Oh wait, it did multiple times. They’re not in a place to do so now it seems to me. But here is what he said.

Apparently, the developer found Sony’s “marketing power” and “unique incentives” appealing, but it ultimately decided to self-publish the release. “In a typical contract, 30% of revenue goes to platform fees, and the remaining 70% is split between the developer and publisher,” it noted. “Since we already ...

Halo 3 surely aged well. Being 17 years old, wow, can’t believe it’s been that long ago.
To the new Halo, it looks really good. Kudos to the team for making the change.

I’ll get this game day one for sure. I will love it just as much as It’s predecessor. That being said, Jin was one great protagonist.. Like many I still like to see a sequel to the first one. It doesn’t take away from one another just because I like both.
